They work really well at keeping the Wasps out of the pool water

I was very skeptical but these things do work. My pool people kept trying to sell me an expensive and hard to manage cover. I decided to try this instead and have been very happy. They make it easy to have the pool ready to go at any time.

Put these in at beginning of year on new pool. I didn't expect heat retention, but did hope it would help prevent evaporation. So since i didn't have a 'control' I cannot tell you how much it helped, but I still have to fill the pool after evaporation once every few days. The funny sheen didn't last past a week on a 12x20 pool. Maybe just buy a bottle instead to dose more frequently. I finally just decided to get a 'solar' cover to retain water. a physical barrier should work much better. but. . .not nearly as convenient. maybe we will use the barrier on the shoulder season and the liquid in the summer. We shall see.

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually IS too good to be true. I purchased the four-pack to use in my pool and it just does not do what the description claims. "Prevents pool water evaporation and heat loss by creating an invisible layer of non-toxic or biodegradable film. AND It can be placed a in skimmer basket, coats water to raise temperature." Well, that just is not true. It was more like throw your money away guaranteed. Take a look at the reviews, 51% are positive and the rest are questionable 3 stars or below. A regret and Waste of money.

Good product, and easy to use. Allows us to use our pool earlier at the beginning of the season and use it longer at the end of the season.

Thermo in pool water,works exactly as mentioned.

Bought em for my Father-In-Law. He hasn't complained yet and they were a lot cheaper than the ones he was getting from the pool store.
