Works nicely and gives a great wide angle
Works nicely and gives a great wide angle. This model has more features than I would ever use but it is nice to have them there.First model I received failed but seller stood by warranty and replaced it.

Poor quality, not really as described.
I am returning this because the product does not perform like the reviews. Poor mounting mechanism, SD card slot is flaky, have to insert and remove a quality Sandisk card over and over again. Lines in the display after recording.Very poor quality!

Oh man! This is really a gem!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I work for a public school district and have encounters with poor drivers almost daily while traveling from building to building. I have wanted a dashcam for a couple of years because I'm sure that eventually one of those individuals is going to cause me to get in a wreck. When that happens I want proof that It was not my fault. This unit is exactly what I need and much more than I expected. The video resolution is perfect and the automatic GPS integration with Google Maps is amazing. It is very compact and the fact that it comes with a very adequately sized Micro SD card makes the EW-D300 a the best value I have found.The only improvement that I could suggest would be a cradle that included the power and GPS connections so the wires could be concealed and leave the camera unit easy to remove for video capture on a PC.It only took a couple of days of use to capture the attached video which is typical of some of the situations that I encounter.
