Book Missing Pages
The book itself is a very cute alphabet book, but the copy I had bought said it was a used, good condition copy. It was, however it was the first book I had ever received in that category to have never of had all the pages in tact. This book was missing several of the alphabet letters and pages. It wasnโt usable due to that reason. That was very disappointing!!! Besides that it was in good shape. It would have been a five star book if all the pages Helen in the book!

These are great books. there are three total - Counting Cockatoos, Alligator Alphabet and Octopus Opposites. If you can only buy one go with Octopus Opposites it is our favorite by a landslide!

Unexpectedly not good condition
The book wasn't in the condition I expected. There were ripped pages in it that had been taped and there were pages that were torn at the bottom that had not been mended. It is a darling book but the condition was not worth the investment.

Well-done imaginative introduction to the alphabet
I have interesting nieces and nephews; they like good things with a twist of originality to them, and this little book just suits them. Loose vivid illustration of unusual choices from the animal kingdom make it fun for both baby and parent. It was a hit.

H is for Happy Boy
Have just read it to my two-year-old son, as a companion to his "Counting Cockatoos" book in the same series, and he loves it.It's a sturdy board book, it has extremely bright and vibrantly coloured illustrations on every page, and it has some text in the form of a little verse as it runs through an animal alphabet from A is for Alligator to Z is for Zebra. Along the way, we get: I is for Impala (some sort of antelope), Q is for Quail, and X is for Xoona Moth, along with the more familiar Monkeys, Lions, Horses and Wolves. ("Dog!" my son promptly exclaimed - close enough.) On the last page is the complete alphabet with an animal motif next to every letter, and this is my son's favourite section. My son has pored over and pored over the book, brought it to me to be read, and likes pointing at the pictures of the animals so that I can say their names (with roaring or snapping sounds, if appropriate.) He is also pointing out letters on street signs etc. so that part of it has also been going in.But yes..... I agree the illustrator has never seen a Ferret, or even a picture of a Ferret, ever, in her entire life. That is a weird illustration.....

Alligator alphabet book
These books are so colourful and delightful to read with my little boy 3, he adores the wide range of animals used to describe each letter and is now obsessed with Xoona Moths!
