This is a good basic safe. Everything worked out of the box (once I put batteries into it), but the fireproof bag was not included in the package. We emailed the vendor through the Amazon app and they wrote back within minutes (literally) offering to reimburse us for a different bag if we purchased it through Amazon. I immediately ordered the bag and sent the invoice to the vendor through the Amazon app. The credit was issued immediately. It was all sorted out within an hour, and probably would have been faster if we hadn't been distracted by dinner. The fireproof bag is arriving today, a few days after the safe. I like the three ways of opening the safe. It was easy to set the keypad to a new code. Must be the best customer service we've every had through Amazon.

This review is for D-35. It looks and feels like a decent safe for home use with usual limitations.Security: At 26 lbs. it would be easy for a thief to walk away with the safe (unless it's filled with heavy gold bars😊). It should be secured to a cement wall or to a stud. Due to spacing between holes in the safe you will only catch one stud and will have to improvise to secure the other end. However, two 3” screws in a stud might suffice.Fire Proof: It's definitely not fireproof and valuable items should be stored in fireproof bags. (Keep in mind that even the more expensive safes can only handle 1,200° F to 1,700° F for up to an hour). Maximum fireproof bag size which will fit in the safe is 14.2” x 10”.Shelf: Door can only open to 90 degrees and, due to the thickness of the door, shelf can't slide straight out. It requires some maneuvering which can only be done when the safe is basically empty. Also, you have to bend lips on four side brackets which support the shelf. Side brackets and these lips are quite flimsy and chances are that bending them more than a couple of times will break them.Customer Service: I had some questions, the seller responded promptly and addressed my concerns immediately.

Perfect size and not too heavy. It seems made out of cheaper material so I'm glad it can be anchored to the wall.

A great safe. Plenty of room, and multiple options to access, even when power is out. The only complaint is the instructions said it required AAA batteries and it is really AA batteries.

This is a well-made, easy to use safe. It's small enough to fit in a corner and the right size for small to medium items. The shelf lays on tracks, so it might come off if you're moving things around in it, but once you get used to it, it's fine.

Due to reviews, I had great expectations. However, the safe cannot be locked via the keypad (no instructions to do so, either). I finally figured out to hit the star to lock it, but it only worked twice. When I contacted the manufacturer, they told me the safe can only be locked with the key. Now the key is stuck in the lock. They requested a video to prove my claims so I will post the video here as well.

This is exactly what we wanted. Very large depth great for guns and valuables worth the money. Had a hard time finding the key slot but the keyless entry was very easy to program.
