Tastes good. Had to heat it up to turn it into liquid before I could use it.
Item being reviewed: NiDiZ Store's Pure Raw Wildflower Honey - 1kg of Unprocessed, Unfiltered, and Unpasteurized Honey for Natural Goodness (from Lithuania).Price at time of order / review: £13.99.I've never tried honey from Lithuania before and I was hoping it'd have some taste that I've never had before. (I used to go to this one honey seller that collected honey made from all sorts of flowers and trees and the difference between the plants can cause a huge taste difference. And color difference too.) This was nice, but it didn't really stand out for me. I'd get it again. I liked it. It just wasn't anything special taste-wise. I feel the price is pretty good for getting a kilo of honey. I would recommend it.

Lovely, fragrant thick honey
This honey reminds me of the locally produced mountain honeys we'd buy in the Pyrenees when I was a kid. It's a lovely thick honey with a complex rich fragrance, definitely suggestive of wildflowers and miles away from corporately-produced squeezy honey. It's more complex and slightly less sweet than average honey. It's not the very best I've had (but then I've had some good honey!), as the flavour could be more complex still; it's also *very* thick; but it's good honey! It is definitely not runny honey; ours is pretty solid, but that may be partly because we got it delivered in the depths of winter - it definitely needs to be spread on hot toast or to be briefly warmed before spreading. We managed to soften up by sitting in some warm water for half an hour, and it's now spreadable firm honey, rather than solid. It came very well packaged in multiple snug layers of tightly-fitting cardboard, so no leaky broken honey here. One reviewer complains of a white layer on top of the honey - I'm surprised, as this has been pretty normal on small-production 'thick' honey I have had in the past.Overall highly recommended, though perhaps not the best honey you will ever taste, definitely a notch above the usual options.******* Update, a few days later *********I can't stop my kids eating this stuff. It's lovely.

Very hard honey
The media could not be loaded. I've recorded a video to show you how hard the honey is to extract from the jar. I will say this tastes very very sweet, it's almost like one of those caramel sweets that no one wants to eat at the end of Halloween because they make you feel sick. I would only recommend getting this if you're going to use it in cooking that comes with heat, or if you're using it as a sugar substitute for hot drinks. I tried to use it as a spread but it would crumble and fall out of the bread, so you will need to preheat everything.

Lovely natural product.
I was wondering how safely a jar of honey might travel, but I need not worried because it was well boxed and packed in several layers of cardboard. The large 1 kg jar of honey comes from Latvia, which has a good reputation for honey production. Raw honey contains a small amount of beeswax and other natural products with the result that it does not have the sickly-sweet flavour of mass produce honey. Instead, the real flavour comes through, and I got hints of caramel or even toffee. There are reports that raw honey has certain health benefits, but that really does not matter to me. What is important to me is the lovely flavour I just enjoyed after spreading this honey on toasted home-made bread. Yum, definitely a five-star experience.
