6" x 16" Soffit Vents - White - Box of 12

These vents look nice. Made of very thin aluminum guessing 36 gauge but IMO still better than plastic , be careful with installation , they bend very easy , used 1 inch spade bit predrill 4 holes and connect holes with portable skill saw ( (adjust blade depth) for soffit. I cut out 3 " X 12 " then added 6 screws to hold vent over cutout , {(make sure there are no rafter or other obstructions interfering with cutout ) used a bent wire to check for obstructions above soffit after drilling each spade hole.}1/8" mesh bug screen is attached to back of vent. thumbs up - Note Measure twice cut once : one could also use a 4 inch hole saw also I made a template out of double cardboard to predrill which made lining up the vents easier.

Vent size is actual, so out to out is 6x16 as listed. 6 screw holes total - corners and one middle ea. side. insect screen isn't super dense - probably 3-4x size of screen door screen. Metal is wafer thin - wish it was a little stiffer - very easy to dent or deform. they do work well, easy to install

Just the right size (7" vs 8" H) for venting a metal storage building with horizontal ribbed metal sheet siding.

Worked good.
