Both content and size are ideal
I’ve just finished Week 3 of AYWMC and find the planner more useful than I expected to. I bought the workbooks and planner since after the first lesson, I realized Ms. Davies’ was absolutely worth the money, and it seemed cheeky to take for free without doing anything in return. The size of the planner is extremely convenient, and the content really helps reinforce and drive home the lessons.

A nice record to accompany the workbook
As I go through the online camera course that accompanies this planner, I am keeping records of my camera activities as well as notes about the course itself in the planner. It is keeping me aware of using my camera more days than not, which is the best way to learn . The planner is a handy portable size. It isn't necessary but it is a helpful addition to other course materials.

Easy to understand, Easy to follow
This book breaks down the technical side of photography in easy to understand language. I have already learned so much and I'm only a few modules in to the book. I was highly intimidated by my digital camera, but no more. This is a fantastic learning tool.

Photography Workbook
Emma Davies is amazing photography teacher. This workbook really helps out. I joined her A Year With My Camera 2019 & 2020. I got side tracked last year, so I hope I can finish this year.

These Work Books are the Best way of learning how to use your DSLR Camera.having had such a camera for years and struggled to get to grips with it , a long comes thisexcellent product from Emma Davies. I'm only a few weeks into Work Book 1 and alreadyI'm fully off the Auto Mode and starting to take some greatly improved photographs. When you consider how much money you've spent on all your kit, buying both books andthe planner is a small price to pay.So BUY the books and see your photography improve as the weeks pass.

Great book to accompany the AYWMC Course
This is an A5 planner that I purchased as I am following Emma Davies' A Year with My Camera (AYWMC) course by email and on social media. This course is aimed at the complete beginner who has little or no experience with their DSLR and who wants to learn how to get off the auto setting, use fully manual and use their camera to its full potential. The emails are received weekly and are bitesized chunks of information that can be worked on through the course of the week. The social media group is a great way to get feedback from others who are also learning. This planner is a great accompaniment to the course, enabling you to keep a record of your personal journey of learning, write notes and record your own photographs.Whilst I feel the book by itself is a little overpriced for the quality, the content is excellent and when taken in conjunction with the email course it becomes excellent value.

A much better print and size when compared with other two 2 work books for this course. If you have purchased the other two books then i would recommend getting this one as well.My only complain is that It's a bit pricey, for an exercise book. It will cost you £54.60 for all three books (when writing) to purchase the set.

A great item to carry around when doing the course
When doing the course “A Year With My Camera” no workbooks or planners are needed a Emma Davis has organised everything so that you can track progress and upload “homework” via Facebook of the AYWMC app. However I like to have something tangible and this planner, along with the two workbooks meet that need. I keep the workbooks at home but I keep the planner with me to make notes or record something. All in B&W and on good quality paper it’s a lovely reference book for when out and about. As I said before, it’s not essential but it’s great to have.

Would advise anyone starting out in photography like me, you couldn't get much better than this ...
Needed for one of Emma's courses, Class of April 2018. I'm attaching a photo I took as part of the course, couldn't have done this before, all down to this book. The book is clear and I feel I have learned so much and still learning. Would advise anyone starting out in photography like me, you couldn't get much better than this book to help you reach your goals. One of my best buys!
