I love to cook and bake, all of our meals are eaten at home with food I prepare. McCormick Beef Gravy is a must have staple in my pantry. - Consistent very high quality. Always fresh and delicious. I purchased this because it is soy free, premade gravy. ... I have a soy allergy and almost all premade or powdered gravies include soy. It's a bonus that it is gluten free as well. Sometimes I simply don't want to take the time and effort of making homemade gravy so I use this.(Ease of use is a deciding factor sometimes!) It has a smooth texture and good thickness, and a good taste for packaged gravy. The price has gone up and it's hard to find now, so I am guessing McCormick has discontinued making this which is unfortunate. I'll probably be down to making my own gravy mix and freezing it so I can thaw and add arrowroot root make my own "convenient" , quick use gravy.

We buy the beef and chicken gravey by McCormick as Whole Foods no longes stocks it for most of the year. The taste is excellent. When making chicken gravey I sear the giblets and a few extra choped up chicken backs for 20 minutes and then pour in three containers of the gravey and simmer for 30-40 minutes. After you strain out the chicken parts the gravey is better than most made fron scratch.

I’m trying to get ahead of the holidays when it comes to the gravy I need for my food. This and the chicken flavor have always been my favorite. The beef is a bit more savory which I love on some mashed potatoes! I’ll have to update with a photo once I make some potatoes again for supper, because this gravy is so tasty and gluten free!
