Solid, like the M-Lok attachment, so far so good
Nice feature is you can remove the top half of the switch to M-Lok it to your upper. You do not need the bigger base pad that's mildly clunky but would be great if you "needed" it, and some may. You got an M-lok front you prolly don't need the base. But if you do, it's solid as a rock. I do think it's a tad overpriced, but IF it lasts with USE ............. then fine.I really wish they offered a thread option as this fits one item I want to be switched, but will not fit a different flashlight use.Just tell us what the THREAD COUNT is, and most have a thread gauge or two in their tool box if they can find it. Let us know if that is METRIC or SAE, too. Critical info! Don't screw this up! :)WHY....................... do "I" have to do all the thinking? HA! :)

Not much can I say, but it it works
I added this to my FL17-MB, which the original switch did not meet my needs. Installation was easy, and works like a champ. I attached it with the M-lok plate, which was great. However if I needed it to attach to 1913 rail, I would be concerned that the profile would be too tall. The only issue that I had with it was the cord thickness. I had a little difficulty cramming it into my cable guides, but I was successful.FYI: It does not fit my vintage SureFire P60. Diameter is correct, but it has a different thread pitch. Not a problem for me, but I know some have that question.

One Big Flaw (Updated: Plus 1 Star)
Update:Product, to my mind, is still a 3-star item. But I'm bumping up my rating to "4 stars" b/c the support from Customer Service has been first-rate. In the end the CS rep told me my concerns about the end cap/tail switch cable would be passed on to Feyachi's product development/improvement team for consideration. Whether that actually happens is a "we'll see," but the back-and-forth was really refreshing; a very positive experience. Good job, Feyachi! This is yet another reason why I really do like the company's offerings (despite the occasional misstep).Original Review:Having used both offerings from Feyachi I think I will stick with using the substandard remote switch that comes with the flashlight and "Feyachi Tape Pressure Switch Mount Plate" (Amazon ASIN: B095JJWX6C) as opposed to this reviewed item if this item is continued to be sold at its current $25+ price point. Under $20 and I upvote this switch and - well - switch. Why?Well, as nice as the switch is the cable coming out of the tail cap does NOT rotate as it does on Streamlight flashlights for instance. This means - unless you want a really torques cable - you have to loosen the flashlight in its mount to "unscrew" the flashlight rather than the tail cap. This is a big issue for me for a weapons-mounted flashlight.I really like Feyachi offerings. But this one is not as well-thought out as most (all?) of the company's other products. As such, I can't whole-heartedly endorse this product. Nice, but a "fatal" flaw.3 stars.

Stopped working.
Ive had this for a little over a month. The original pressure pad wire i guess broke internally, my fault for not giving it enough slack.I bought this to replace it and after the first range session, I come home, and the same issue occurred. I gave it plenty of room on the back end of the pad and the flashlight to prevent any internal snapping of the wire and it still happened. Pretty upset and will probably look into purchasing a higher end flashlight because of this.

Far superior to anything else I've tried.
One thing to keep in mind is that it doesn't slide on from the end of the rail and then tighten down with a screw like a normal attachment. You snap it on and it's just a pressure fit. Still, seems sturdy and tight. The cap has the same thread and pitch as the Pinty Green laser, the NUUR 1200 Lumen Tactical Flashlight and the Streamlight 88066 Pro Tac Rail Mount HL-X 1000-Lumen light. So if you have one of those three devices, this switch will directly replace the original switch you probably have secured to your handguard with electrical tape.

Not a common thread
This is the correct size to replace the switches you're thinking it replaces given the construction of the switch compared to what your light already has. But, even though it says fits most tactical lights, the threading is too fine. I initially started a return, but decided to modify my flashlight to fit. My light is modular, and I took the last piece and filed down the threading so it would slide into this switch with a good friction fit. And then I used Starbond Thick CA glue to coat the threads thoroughly, seated the modified piece into this switch, and spritzed the activator. Once finished, this switch works PERFECTLY on my light. I have another light I plan on doing the exact same thing for that one.
