Great for beginners and early intermediate guitar students. This includes specific lessons for techniques on ELECTRIC guitar--not just acoustic guitar with small adaptations. Lots of short TAB tunes snippets.

Good songs and lessons

This book is meant for someone who has some experience with guitar playing. It has some good practice pieces but more would be helpful, especially with techniques-hammer-on, hammer-off, and slides.
