My sister can’t stop using t these clippers. It cuts great and having 2 batteries is a plus. Would highly recommend

The media could not be loaded. Update. The size in the middle of the blade is 1.25 inches, but gets bigger towards the blade tips. Due to hearing the motor was very strong I decided to try it out and had a very good time. The hardness of the wood cut was 1090 on the Janka scale, or close to walnut hardness. The shears went through the majority of the 1.5 inch ones with ease. I tested it on 1-3/4 branches too as the video shows. The blade may stick in the biggest ones and need careful removal (see video), but second-plus attempts at the same cut are successful. Zero problems on the lesser size branches and I went through the pictured size pile (about 3.5ft high) in about 10 minutes. After 1.75 hours of cutting my hands were fairly happy, so only slight hand stiffness, just a little ache in my wrists; with a history of repetitive stress. Posthumously, I should have limited to an hour as my unexercised wrists ended up hurting later for a day or so. The shears and battery weigh a total of 3.4 lbs, the shear alone about 2.2 lbs. Safety notes: Immediately after cut, be mindful to rest your finger outside the trigger guard. Be sure you maintain the oil as directed.I will update further when I use the pole.This one is a keeper.First post: This is a second vendor that sent me electric pruning shears with a smaller than advertized/pictured opening. I'm returning the item and asking for their pictured 45mm opening at mid-blade. I will update with vendor response to my request for their advertized 45mm mid-blade opening. [Updated]I'm also frustrated the battery labeling is all in chinese, when the ad shows english. Please send english labeling on the batteries.

I have two of these now. Much cheaper than a pneumatic pruner and, although they are heavier because of the battery, they are much easier to use as they are more maneuverable.

This is a great tool that works well for pruning our trees. The parts fit together easily and it’s nice to have a spare battery and an extra set of blades. The shoulder strap is really helpful so that it doesn’t get too heavy, and it has a safety feature that locks the blades in place when not in use. The only downside is that it was harder for my husband to grip the switches as his hands are much bigger than mine and he had trouble placing his hands correctly in ways that I didn’t when I used it, so it may be harder for a person with larger hands to operate. We also have some concerns that the plastic on some of the pieces may not be sturdy enough to hold up over time. Overall very pleased with the design and features.

These shears are amazing I just pruned 5 fruit trees in 4 hours and the battery was still going strong. Using manual shears in the past took me 8 hours, so this was a vast improvement! Very happy with this purchase. The extension was a lilttle heavy, but the clippers themselves are reasonably light. The shears are well constructed and come with two batteries and replacement blades.
