It’s thick...
I purchased this because of upper back pain. It’s too high, even trying it for lumbar. The entire pillow needs to be half the depth it is.

Very soft, not wool, beautiful color.
I ordered this for a gift for a sick little girl. She loved it. It is very soft. I had trouble finding a purple that wasn't made from wool (dry clean only type issues+child... You can see where I am going here if you have kids) this one is not wool so it can be washed in a laundry bag. The price was great, the yarn color is beautiful, and the shipping was fast. Very pleased.
