100 things to know about History

Nice book full of bite-sized chunks of history. I'm using it to give my daughter an idea of the scale of history in general, and to spot anything that seems to grab her attention, so I can expand on it through other books. One small gripe I had was the claim that the American civil war was one of the bloodiest in history? It wasn't by a long shot, so it made me question the validity of some of the facts. But that one thing aside, its a good introduction to history for kids x

Nice quality, easy to read fact book for younger kids. My 7 year old sat and read for ages by himself.

A great book for children. My son Zak loves this book. Really interesting stories and full of information, lots of illustrations and fun to read. Another way of fun learning at home.
