The biggest problem I've had with diamond paints in the past is that they were too small to pick up enough details of the photo which makes them took very pixelated. At approx. two feet by one foot, this set does not have that problem. I will say that a diamond paint this size is probably not the best idea for someone just getting into the hobby. Something this size will take a long time to complete, and you might get frustrated with the time commitment. I have been diamond painting for years so have no problem taking the time to complete a larger canvas.The kit comes with everything you'll need including: The canvas, the diamonds, wax (in a cute plastic heart), a diamond tray, tweezers, and a tool with three different attachments. It also comes with little plastic bags to hold the diamonds once you've opened them. This is not something that usually comes with the kits I've purchased and is a great bonus!The kit is a full drill painting which means diamonds will cover the entire picture. The symbols on the canvas seem pretty extinguishable from each other. The canvas material seems to be pretty standard from what I've seen. I have seen nicer canvases, but I've also seen cheaper ones. The design itself comes with 60 different colors! This is more colors than I've seen any kit come with. I'm currently working on one that is probably 3 times as big as this one and that only came with 40 different colors. I'm excited to work with so many colors. The diamonds are square which is what I prefer. I don't like the gaps in the canvas that you get when you use round diamonds.The reason I am knocking off one star is because of the diamond quality. I'm not sure if it is the material or the way that the tops are shaped, but they do not give off the same shine that other diamonds I've used do. Overall, for the price, this is an excellent choice. I am very excited to complete this kit!

I didn't realize that the drills were square when I ordered this. A lot of kits on amazon are round drill, so I just assume they are round. There are lots of colors, 60, so this has a lot of visible detail. Lots of colors also means a more natural blend between color sections. With square drills, I prefer to place with tweezers first in a checkerboard pattern and then fill in with the drill pen. A light pad underneath helps as well. These are pretty affordable here on amazon and makes the placement much easier. I think the quality of the drills and canvas are just fine for the size and price.

This is a wonderful scene of a tree and a wave in Japanese style to be completed in faceted crystals. This kit comes with all of the necessary tools and pieces rolled up compactly with the canvas. It includes a stack of small ziploc bags for storage of the crystals because they come packaged in bags that must be cut open and can't be resealed. Keeping each color separate and labeled is very important for completing the picture correctly and hassle-free, and I appreciate this extra care that has been taken to provide this. It makes it much easier to have fun and not worry about organizing!

ok so got this for my wife as she is really into crafting and has had some time on her hands. This is her first diamond painting kit and she does not like easy crafts. This is not disappointing her so far. The colors are impressive but there are over 60 different ones and it is time consuming to work with. She has dedicated a space in a room...kind of like someone that loves complicated puzzles and she it determined to get it finished. It is not that difficult to do..just small and time consuming. Can't wait to see the results.

I am new to diamond painting and so far have only used round drills. I wanted to try a square drill project and I liked the picture of this one so I got it. It has 60 colors and is large, so it will take quite a long time to complete, but I am hoping that some areas like the sky and the moon will go quickly. It came well-packed and has all the things you need-canvas, drills, single, 4 drill, and 10 drill pickers, wax (but I use glue dots), tray, and tweezers. I am looking forward to getting started after the holidays!

The media could not be loaded.  This is a beautiful kit but if you haven't diamond painted before, you will definitely want to start with something smaller. This kit has 60 colors! I've done a lot of diamond painting, but the biggest one I've done had 48 colors and that was pretty challenging. I'm sure this painting is going to have amazing depth when it's done (but it's going to take a long time). This kit has square drills which I prefer over round drills for a more detailed picture, but they are also harder to place and line up properly. I also use either a light board and a magnifying glass for smaller pieces, and a standing magnifying light for larger pieces because the squares are really tiny.
