It just works! (On Sony A7RIII and Canon Lenses 16-35mm / 70-200mm f2.8 / 28-300mm / 200-400 mm f/4 - 400 f/2.8
Short Review: It works with some Canon Lenses on the new Sony A7RIIILong Review:First things first, I am/was a Canon user for over 10 years and I own several Canon lenses, I recently started to look at other alternatives and I eventually settled on the new Sony A7RIII for the same reason I was looking for an adapter so I could use most of the lenses I have.- I first rented the Metabones ( Canon EF/EF-S Lens to Sony E Mount T Smart Adapter IV Gen) and it was too slow to focus in daylight and lowlight, I then rented the Metabones Canon EF to Sony E-Mount T Speed Booster and nothing still too slow, I was very disappointed, so I had to buy the Sony 24-105 F/4 (Native lens) for my work and I've been using that lens almost daily.I wanted to rent the MC-11 but non of the places I rent my gear from had it, so I had to buy it and I was worth it.( I can confirm that it works on the Sony A7RIII - you need to update it to the most current firmware with the cable supplied-, it works with the following Canon Lenses:- 16-35mm f/2.8- 70-200 f/2.8 - I & II- 50mm f/1.8- 28-300 f/3.5β5.6- 200-400 f/4- 400 f/2.8SIGMA 150-600 f/5-6.3I recently used the MC-11 on a Mayor award show with the 200-400 and it performed just great, it wasn't that fast but not too slow, just ok, I used the single large focus point and I was able to get most of the shots. so this adapter is a keeper!

8 work fine on an A6300
Hey folks, this works with a ton of cf Canon made lenses. I have no idea which specific glass woks perfectly, but I do know that my ancient 80-200 f2.8, 20-35 f2.8 work fine on an A6300. Even the old first generation 28-105 works! I wish the 300 f4.0 L woke, but it doesn't. So what. I can still manually focus the beast and the pics are great. Why are there people griping about the lack of universal lens support? It makes no sense. The price of this device compared to other high quality adapters makes this a steal. I trust Sigma's engineering, remember they have been reverse engineering Canon's lens protocols for over 30 years. Only four stars because this is not a floor wax AND a dessert topping. (the blower is meh, get a real Rocket Blaster, the is card slow, and the pen of a so so quality, but you get 'em for the same price as other offers)

It works. Sort of.
It works. Sort of. Autofocus is pretty much useless with most of my Canon lenses but still it was a worth buy with a deep discount. It does fully support an automatic diaphragm. The manual focus is pretty easy with Sony cameras. I don't understand why Canon will not make a full frame mirrorless camera with Dual Pixel autofocus similar to Sony A7 series. I would prefer to pay for Canon mirrorless full-frame camera instead of Sony A7 with this adapter to use Canon EF lenses.

Doesn't work on all Canon lenses
The MC-11 fits well on my new Sony A7R3 camera. I tried it on these lenses: Canon 17-40L and Canon 28-300 IS and 70-200 IS zoom. It works OK on the 17-40, but the auto focus does not work on the 28-300 or 70-200. I'm forced to purchase the Sony 100-400 in order to get functional zoom.
