Good quality chocolate
Very well packaged in a gift box. Chocolate tastes really luxurious and has a good snap. 3 different flavours. Definitely going to order more

Delicious, highly recommend
When I ordered this chocolate bar selection I was unsure if I'd like it, I'm quite fussy which chocolate I choose, but they certainly appeared to be a high quality product, with a nice selection of flavours. They arrived beautifully presented, and would definitely be a giftable product, the bars themselves are nicely wrapped, and are quite a large, thin style, so you feel like you're getting much more than if they were thick chunks. The chocolate itself is seriously nice, I honestly couldn't pick which was my favourite flavour as they are equally delicious, I'm not normally a fan of salted sweet products, but even the sea salt variety was amazing. They are much richer than readily available big name branded chocolate, and the packets are informative enough to show that they contain good quality ingredients, I'm very impressed with all three flavours, I will be buying more in future, and I'm happy to recommend it.

Not the best chocolate
Firstly, I have to say that I love the ethos behind this brand, and that the chocolate is fairtrade, organic, and sustainably responsible.I also love that the milk used carries the Demeter mark, which means that the cows are well-looked after, and their milk is non-homegenised, so it retains more of its nutrients. On paper, this should all mean that the end product - the chocolate - should be utterly delicious. Except, in my opinion, it's not.In terms of flavour, it's very good: not too sweet (despite sugar being almost 40% of the ingredients!), with a deep and rich cocoa flavour. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a particularly good mouthfeel. It's quite waxy in texture - rather like American chocolate. It's a long way off being smooth and velvety. The bars look very attractive in their brightly-coloured cardboard packets, which are beautifully-designed ... although the BOP text could do with being proofread before being sent to the printer!. Inside the packs, the bars are wrapped in cellophane (which is biodegradeable), and have a humorous message printed on them, as well as sustainability information. All three bars come in a gift box, which looks a bit basic, if I'm honest. I'd prefer them tied up with decorative twine, and not in a box at all.Price-wise, this pack works out to just over £3 each per 80g bar. Not expensive for luxury chocolate but to me it feels over-priced, given the quality. I'm very grateful to have been given the opportunity to try these but I won't be buying more in the future.Note: this chocolate is NOT suitable for vegans, lactose intolerent, or those following a plant-based diet, due to the fact that it contains dairy.

Not quite there
The packaging looks great here, and the bars are well made, so I was a little disappointed when I tried the chocolate, and found it to be too dry and chalky. It doesn't melt in the mouth the way a milk chocolate should, and ends up being quite unsatisfying overall. With that said, not melting has actually been quite useful in the summer months, and this would be hugely beneficial for hotter climates. I also though the flavourings were well distributed and tasty. The chocolate does have a distinctive taste, though not one I personally prefer.I have to give some credit here for the ethical sourcing and production, but ultimately the product must speak for itself. I really loved the chocolate balls in this range, but these milk chocolate bars are not for me.

Lovely Chocolate
I absolutely loved this chocolate, loved being past tense because it didn't take me very long to polish it off. It's quite sweet and not very bitter at all, I did think being only 43% that it might be too bitter for me but I was very pleasantly surprised.I love all 3 although the hazelnut was my least favourite, which is surprising because I assumed that would be the one I liked the most. There's nothing wrong with it, on its own I would have loved it, I just preferred the other two with the milk being my favourite.I'm in a very hot room and I'm surprised that they didn't melt at all, they were completely solid where as anything else would have all been stuck to the wrapper in this heat. The bars are quite thin but I think that's for the best because they are very, very high in Calories. We looking at around 600 (ish, give or take per bar) for just 100g (the bars are 80g)They seem to be very ethically made and sourced as well, which is a very good thing. At £9.99 they're quite expensive but in my opinion they're very good quality chocolate and they come well wrapped that would also make a lovely gift. I'm very happy with them!

Lovely sweet chocolate but a bit of a weird texture
I love trying new chocolate and these AfriMyst bars made in Ghana are very nicely presented. You get three different bars in the box: milk chocolate, milk chocolate with sea salt and milk chocolate with hazelnuts. The chocolate is lovely and sweet and the ratio of salt or hazelnuts is perfect in those particular bars. It’s the texture that’s a bit weird though. It doesn’t melt in your mouth like I’m used to with chocolate, which I suspect is something to do with it being made in Ghana.I got used to the texture though and I can’t fault the flavour or presentation of these bars.
