High quality tea!
This Fenghuang Dancong Oolong tea is something I’d never tried before. This is more rare tea leaf to get as it’s harvested from a specific, restricted location and only in the Spring. This bumps up the cost and makes this a very special occasion tea and a great gift idea. It’s packaged beautifully if you want to gift this.I love teas and this one has a more nuanced floral, green flavor. It’s also rated high in polyphenols. This also is great as an after meal digestive tea too from the enzymes it has. Only great things to say about this lovingly crafted tea.

Mellow sip with pronounced aroma
3.5 ounces of loose leaf oolong tea - brand and product of China. The tea is sourced and produced utilizing traditional and sustainable farming methods with 1 tea tree per 6-8 meters and the leaves harvested just once per year (Spring). Leaf quality is very good with primarily large pieces and very little fanning that sits at the bottom of the resealable bag. The Dancong variety makes for a pleasant sip with a robust yet smooth flavor and a tasty, pronounced aroma throughout. If quick brewed the Chinese way - you can get approx 7 cups from 1 serving of leaf. Highly recommended for fans of Oolong.

A Must-Try for Oolong Tea Lovers
I love oolong tea too, and I was really impressed with this tea. The leaves are high-quality and the tea has a delicious, complex flavor. It is sweet and slightly smoky, with a lingering aftertaste. I enjoyed drinking it both plain and with a little bit of honey. The leaves are beautiful and whole, and they have a wonderful aroma. The tea itself is smooth and mellow, with a slightly sweet and smoky flavor. It's perfect for drinking on its own or with a little bit of honey.

ITEAWORLD Dahongpao Oolong Tea
Wow, this ITEAWORLD Dahongpao Oolong Tea is delicious. It's so flavorful and smooth feeling in your mouth. While some may see the cost and think it is high, keep in mind you can re-steep up to 10 times! I re-steeped 6 times and the tea still tasted delicious and was just as smooth as the first steep. This loose tea provides you with the full experience: the aroma of the tea is pleasant and soothing. The taste is flavorful and appealing while feeling smooth in your mouth. The presentation of the tea is beautiful and would also make a nice gift for a tea lover.

Great for multiple cups
5 out of 5 – the fact you can re-steep the same tea leaves 7-10 times and keep getting good flavor makes this pricier tea completely worth it.Aroma: the aroma on this one is great.Flavor: the flavor is very good and depending on the first or the 7th brew on the same tea leaves you get different flavors out of it.Smoothness: smooth and velvety for sureComplexity: You can get multiple brews out of one batch of tea and the flavor does change. No, the tea does not necessarily get ‘weaker’Color: Great color, very clear. I don’t have a glass tea cup, so.Leaf Appearance: High-quality whole or partially rolled leaves. minimal broken or crushed leaves.Astringency: not very bitter, acidic. It can contribute to the tea's complexity and mouthfeel.Aftertaste: I love the aftertaste on this tea, through multiple brews.Infusion Potential: multiple infusions for sure. I’ve gotten up to five throughout the day and the bag promises a solid 7-10. Amazing re-steepability on this one.

First brew has a very fruity smell and slightly sweet taste
Disclaimer: I'm not a tea affectionado but I do like to drink tea in the cooler months of winter when the weather is cold outside. I don't weigh my tea leaves to get 1 gram per ounce of water as most tea houses do when serving fine Oolong teas. I just place about a teaspoon of tea leaves per 10 ounce cup of water, see picture above of teaspoon I used. The first brew of the tea I let it brew for about 5 minutes and then drank the tea. I know this is much longer than the tea houses do which is about 1 to 3 minutes, so they don't get the bitterness from the tannins. My impression is the tea has a sweet almost fruity taste on the first brewing and has a nice aroma. I brewed the same tea leaves for a total of 3 times and on the second and third brewing the floral scent is mostly gone and the tea taste a little like black tea. Overall it's a nice scented tea with a good flavor not too strong and the leaves were tightly wound in the package.

Great tasting tea!
This was a really nice tea. It had good aroma and flavor, the leaves seemed to be fresh and it was well packaged. At the time of this writing it's currently unavailable - but I hope it comes back.
