Goldn Badger Gold Paydirt ‘Prospect’ Panning Pay Dirt Bag – Gold Prospecting Concentrate

Alright, let the review begin!I’m a fan of the gold mining shows on the Discovery Channel, and there is a good chance you are too if you’re looking at paydirt to buy off Amazon. I checked out a lot of different brands of paydirt available for purchase and read majority of their reviews. After doing so, I found this brand to be the best as far as good reviews go so I caved in and purchased.I was excited to receive my bag of paydirt in the mail, and eager to try my hand at panning for gold. Upon opening the package, I thought the bag was a bit on the small side. I would say this is more like a “sample size” bag if anything. I read the instruction card that came with the item and I did not find it very helpful. I definitely recommend YouTubing some videos on how to pan for gold before digging into your baggy of paydirt. I also recommend getting a large bowl or plastic tub to use to hold your water source & washed away paydirt and not let anything go down the drain of your sink or bathtub. You will want to pan this paydirt several times. I planned it 5 times before calling it a night and I was still seeing small little specs of gold. However, there just was no way I was going to be able to pan those small small specs of gold out of the paydirt.It is not as easy as it looks, obviously. I was kind of discouraged in the beginning because I kept having to watch YouTube videos to figure out what techniques to use (like I stated above the instruction card that came with this paydirt wasn’t all that useful). It took some time to finally get some sort of understanding and hang of it but then as I continued to sift away the paydirt the gold was revealing itself and the excitement set in.Value for the money...I definitely don’t feel that small of a bag is worth $20 but you are buying an experience more than anything and I suppose that justifies the cost for the most part. I would have liked to receive more paydirt for the amount spent, I probably would have felt better about the purchase if the bag was slightly bigger. You will not find a lot of gold in this bag, so if you’re looking to strike it rich, keep looking because you won’t find it here. The amount of gold I was able to pan from this bag was so little that it did not even register on my small food scale (I tried getting a measurement in grams.) Perhaps I’m using the wrong scale but it was all I had available. Overall though, I did really enjoy doing this activity and I feel it’s definitely a giftable item for someone who just wants to try panning for gold for fun.

i was excited to try panning for the first time, had a kit and every thing to use this bag of dirt. I ended up finding some pieces easy to see with a naked eye. There wasn't as much as i expected to see as shown in the pictures from this product. Of course i was not expecting the huge pieces of gold, but i was hoping to be more gold dust not bits of it. As a beginner i find this very poor, and very exaggerated towards the buyers expectations. They should make different packs of gold with different sizes. For example a bag with nothing but gold dust, just bits, or mixed. This would be a great started if it that was the case. Only 0.079 grams of gold found. Might be missing a flake or two, ill be working on it once more when given the time. Thanks again, and thank you for the voucher ticket. Not sure if this will count as redeeming that voucher.

Compared this product to others and it seems to be a better value based on size of bag. We expected it to be challenging and we were not disappointed : ). They make it look so easy on TV to pan dirt for gold but there is a skill to it. The gold that you will find may not be very big but as you can see from the photos we did get a fair amount. We found that panning it more than once continued to yield flakes. It surprised my "expert" that he missed so much from the first panning. It kept my kids busy for hours. I look forward to doing this again!

This was good fun my daughter and I. We have gotten into this hobby panning and this pay was exactly what we like when we order due to living in Florida. It was easy to get all the gold and practice for the cost. My friend is the one that directed me to this pay dirt and he also had good return and fun. if you want something fun nice chunky gold this is the one my daughter and I pick up. This was some of the best pay dirt I have gotten lately and recommend you should try it and see for your self. You will not be disappointed!

There was one little tiny microscopic piece of gold as we panned this in 3 times ,Surely there is gold in a four star account. However dont be fooled look at all the one stars.....Very weird. Bad product. I might gold in my backyard kind of dirt

I got this to start teaching my son how to gold pan and learn the basics. Only found .9 of a grain in small very flat flakes. Understanding this was a not for profit purchase, I was hoping there was a little bit more and would not suggest buying for beginners or kids.

I'm really satisfied with the purchase of this product from this seller, because he has already bought other paydirts from other sellers, but the gold content has never been as abundant as this time. I bought 2 bags to see if they would respect the same quantity for both of them in gold, and it turned out that in both cases I found lots of gold flakes. In addition, the delivery was very fast and the packaging really good and well sealed. Surely I will buy more bags in the future .....
