Juniper berries are not the easiest things to get your hands on. Allspice works very well when making jerk seasoning. The allspice I received was fresh and smells wonderful. Surprisingly, I'm going through it fairly quickly. It will still last nearly two years. I place this in a 12 1/2oz Libbey Jar, then seal the rest in 3, 16oz ball jars and vacuum seal them shut with the foodsaver vacuum sealer attachment. They go in the back of the cupboard after that.I purchase most of my spices from Frontier. They have not disappointed yet. Everything has been fresh and amazing, and much cheaper than buying from the grocery store in small quantities.My jerk seasoning rub recipe:In a hot cast iron skillet, roast the following for 2-3 minutes:* 3 tbsp All-Spice* 3 tbsp Black Peppercorns* Grind. I use my magic bullet with the flat blade to do this.Then add in:* 1 tsp Himalayan Sea Salt (use any sea salt you'd like)* 1/2 tsp Cinnamon* 1/2 tsp Habanero Powder or Cayene Pepper (use 1/8 tsp or less if you're sensitive to spicy food)* 1 tsp Thyme* 1 tbsp Coconut sugar* 1 1/2 tsp granulated onion* 1 1/2 tsp granulated garlicThis allspice is also great for homemade tea.

Perfect for what I use it for. Wonderfully sealed in a vacuum bag on arrival. Aroma was so fresh and delicious. Will definitely recommend this one for those who need this spice as an essential component for using.

Not what I wanted, but totally my fault. I searched for organic whole cloves, and didn't notice that the Allspice was returned in the results as well.

I really enjoy the aroma as soon as you open the bag, it could improve by having a re-close able seal, but otherwise a great product

Looks and smells like nutmeg, and has a really intense flavor after grinding you can smell through a zip lock bag. Perfect for what I was looking for :D
