@289 rupees, I can't expect a better DE safety razor than this, head is made of zinc alloy, handle is made of brass, chrome plating is very satisfactory, butterfly mechanism is very safe as it's intended to on and offload the blades.Shaving experience is on aggressive side, have used it with Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade, the weight does it all as it doesn't need any efforts or palm weight to glide, knuckles on handle gives a good grip.Strictly a wet shaving razor, it'll irritate your skin if used to shave without lathering or oiling.Design isn't unique, as this design is available with other de razors brands too, but they are at least double the price of this one and matches the same build quality.My take, a considerate purchase for experienced wet shavers but not for novice or beginners, hence don't fall for price and buy it(I suggest to practice with Gillette Sterling first or Romer 7 Virgo).Three loopholes of this product are:a. Larger Over hang comparatively.b. Misalignment of blades on either sides.c. Strictly made to use for facial shaving, not at all suitable for head shaving.

Effortless shaving, easy to put blade as it has twist to open mechanism

The construction is not up to the mark. Though the razor has enough heft, the butterfly mechanism tends to open as the locking screw doesn’t gets tight as required.

Shaving with this razor was a unique experience. Unlike other Pristine razors, this was aggressive in nature of shave, the blade on either sides was over exposed. With this razor you get razor burns, nicks and cuts. I would not recommend this for first timers,Surprisingly, other razors of Pristine gives smooth shaves without any aggressiveness or nicks or cuts or razor burns. But, the good part is this has a good weight. When you compare it with Rolasons similar looking razor in looks and weight. The Rolason razor gives a smooth shave without any nicks or cuts and razor burns. I would recommend this Pristine razor to people who prefer aggressive razor or shaves after 2 to 3 days.

Very high blade bite, not at all comfortable. Markets itself to be an ideal choice for "sensitive skin", but it definitely isn't. Pristine is a great company, but extremely disappointed with the false marketing. I am not new to shaving and I can still feel the tug. Make a conscious decision before buying. Your experience could be different.

I love pristine butterfly open razor. Havey weight finishing is very good. This razor is aggressive. Its give smooth shave.This is my first butterfly razor and i am impresed.

Built quality is just awesome but blade gap and exposure makes it highly aggressive.
