Used to work
Don’t know what happened, I (had) several of these plugs in my house, they (used to) worked fine for over a year, then, all of a sudden, these stopped working with my Alexa dot; the plug literally went out one night and hasn’t worked since. I have about 3 of them laying around, all new, and we tried them in multiple outlets using everything from lightbulbs to appliances and we simply couldn’t get any of them to work. I spent over a fun hour on the phone with the very nice woman at tech support and still resolved nothing (the time spent alone cost more than the stupid plugs, at this point I’m only returning them out of principle; they really need to fix this!).I’m now in the process of switching all of my plugs to amazon only plugs. They are far less of a headache to deal with

Great little tool to use with Alexa!
These things are very nice. They are pretty easy to set up and work well with Alexa and the phone app from Lumiman. I KNOW they warn you, but the only reason I don't give it five stars is because it only works on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. I use NETGEAR's Orbi to create a mesh network. So, to connect these I have to connect them to my Comcast/Xfinity cable modem/router. They work great for the main floor and basement. Have not tried any in the upper level where the signal is not as strong. But, they are still very nice and fun to use.

Do not buy ! ! !
Let me start by saying I have over 23 years of IT experience and I was installing these in a home with multiple wireless smart devices working with no issues. The first plug installed and worked just fine for about ten minutes. It then decided it had a poor network connection and stopped working. I moved it to within six feet of the wireless router, power cycled, reset (drop and reinstall in the app), and even factory reset the plug with no success. It did want to do a firmware update which was never successful. I pulled out the second plug and went through the same processes with no success. The support option is to email them (no number to call). I am not going to play email tag to troubleshoot so I returned them. I give Amazon 5 stars on the return process.

Great tech support, setup took time, plugs now work great!
Works with Google homeWorks with Amazon echoI am very tech savvyI had other brand switches on my echo witch caused a conflict in the software. I had the TuyaSmart app/skill running which made it not work with supplies directions. I was able to follow all directions until the last step, Alexa didn't discover my devices. I just removed the lights from Lumiman and added these plugs to Tuya smart and it worked! Alexa discovered them immediately. Tech support was helpful even late at night!4 stars becauseI wish I was able to put two side by side on one outlet.It took a lot of time to make accounts sign in and it didn't work without tech support, only because I had another smart plug with a different brand.Now everything works great!

Works great. Have not had any issues.You can set a timer on it as well to turn on or off at certain times.I used it in my kids rooms to turn on their humidifiers and noise machines at certain times for their naps.Good stuff.

Great product, only downside is you cannot fit two of them into a single two-plug outlet.

I really like these smart plugs
I really like these smart plugs. They connected to my iPhone very easily. I use them to control my greenhouse fans. I only wish they were square or smaller. They are round and just a bit large for my wall sockets only allowing 1 smart plug per wall socket.

they work but they aren't compatible with Google Home, like it stated. They are touch and go getting them to syne to your wifi.

Reliable and easy
Works with my google home assistant. Easy to setup to WiFi. Plusminus App allows you to set schedules and timers. Plug can also be controlled via the Google home app too. I use it turn off fans and the other for my lamp. Great product and very reliable.

Easy setup. Max 1000 watts
Set this up quite easily, however it does not say in the description that it is for max 1000 watts. It does say this on the packaging. I wanted to use this for an electric fireplace rated for 1500 watts. I will not use as this would be a fire hazard. Probably works great for lights and appliances but that's it.

Disconnect often
The plug and the app are easy to use. The most important thing that I dislike is that it is disconnected often. I had it on with the light. And the plug would be disconnected so often so the light went off for short while then turned back on again and again. I stopped using it already.
