Ceramic Large Soup Bowls Set of 4, 40 Oz Ramen Bowls, 8 Inch Pho Bowls for Noodle, Salad, Pasta and Serving, Blue and White Japanese, Microwave and Dishwasher Safe

On the hunt for pho bowls and bought these after reading some positive reviews. Unfortunately they are too small for our needs. The contents fit, but because it is not large enough it gets too messy. If they were bigger I would keep them as they are beautiful bowls, good quality, nice designs, and thick/sturdy.

These are fantastic!! I thought maybe I needed bigger but this was PLENTY of food!! HahaVery nice bowl set.

It is just right size for Udon, Hot and Cold Noodle. Not too big, not too small. This bowls are pretty and makes me feel good when I eat the noodles. I just bought this but looks sturdy too.

Bowls were large enough for ramen like in the stores and very pretty. Exterior was an embossed grid pattern that provides a good grip.

UPDATE 2 1/2 YEARS LATER: STILL NO CHIPS! STILL LOVE THEM! Original post: I just got these bowls today and they are so pretty! The designs are elegant, the size is great, and the raised design on the outside makes them easier to handle and wash without slipping. I measured 3 1/2 cups of water into the bowl which left about 3/4 of an inch clearance to the rim. I'm sure you could get 4 cups in if you have steady hands for carrying a very full bowl to the table. I can't testify to how durable they are since I haven't used them yet. If a problem arises with chips or they break easily, I'll write another review. A YEAR LATER: Cheap ceramic bowls will chip easily. These get used on a regular basis and so far, no chips. That's a sign that they were fired at a high temperature. I love the design on them and the size is great. Got a set as housewarming gift for a friend. They love them, too.

These are beautiful. I opened the package today with one broken. Too much hassle to return for one bowl. I was sad that the bowl with the beautiful flower design broke. Why couldn’t it have been the graphic dot design; my least favorite of the four! Well, I ordered another set…they are just that beautiful.

These are my new favorite bowls. My husband liked them so much he told me to order more. We had some crate and barrel dishes but the bowls were just too big, especially for ice cream and dessert. I find myself using these all the time. I had gotten some other smaller cute bowls from HomeGoods but they all chipped. These don’t chip and are so tough and durable. I loved them so much I got some larger noodle bowls snd done serving bowls. I might end up changing all my dishes out to this brand. I love them that much!!!This bowl though is the perfect size!!

Although I have a set of bowls already, I was looking for something larger. Something that I could easily fit a full serving of noodle soup in without having to tip toe to the table, something I could easily stir a salad in without the lettuce and dressing flying all over... and I found it in these bowls. They are absolutely beautiful and feel like the perfect size. I was worried they might be really big, but they really aren't. It perfectly fits ramen, salad, and pasta with plenty of room to stir without making you feel like a total pig. It's similar in size to a Corelle serving bowl.I loved my bowls so much that I ordered another set so that I wouldn't have to go without if they were all in the dish washer. Even better, I think they perfectly match my other dishes that have a similar blue color pattern. Normally I'm a bit on the OCD side about everything matching, and these bowls have an assortment of designs... but I actually think that they are fun. For whatever reason, in this case I don't mind them being different, it adds to their charm!

Excellent as serving bowls for 2-3 people as well as generous portions of soup.

The paint has a few imperfections, which look off with these patterns. Look a bit like scratches, but arn't. Hope to stop noticing them.
