I have only used it a couple of times in light rain but it did keep me dry. Size seems to be pretty close to what I needed. I got the larger and have plenty of room over my clothes. As far as the hood goes, it is what it is.

Good quality for the money. I’ve worked outside for the last 4 decades and this gear is just what the doctor ordered. Runs a little big. I ordered extra large and should have ordered large. But, I have room for heavy winter clothes underneath. The only thing I don’t like is the hood. You have to tie it to keep it on. I put spring type keepers from Amazon on and it took care of the problem.

True to size and good fit. Quality is good and keeps me warm in the rain while working. Color is the same in photos.

Perfect for the rain and upcoming snow!

I ordered this reflective weather gear to use when removing snow from my sidewalk as required by local ordinance. I have 4 hours from the time falling snow stops to remove the snow from 150' linear feet of sidewalk. I live on an arrow straight road with no stop signs, traffic lights, speed bumps nor rumble strips. It is not policed so pervasive speeding is the norm. There is no buffer between the curb and the sidewalk except for a 3/4" expansion joint. I have been absolutely saturated in the past from speeding vehicles on the slushy road. I wanted something rugged that I could order extra large to wear over heavy clothing that was highly reflective, protecting me from from getting saturated while being visible in all lighting conditions. When the suit arrived I put on heaving clothing and then tried on the suit over it. It worked as I had hoped it would work. To be absolutely positive I need a snow storm but I am pretty confident that it will do the job that I need it to do. So yes, I am happy with this acquisition.

I gave the rain jacket 3 stars because the hood should of been made bigger it’s great for light rain but in heavy downpours your face will get wet

Great rain suit. I use this suit in a downpour, I didn't even get wet at all.
