This diffuser is for those looking to automate their homes or activity areas. The first thing that I find excellent is its design; it's quite small and minimalist, suitable for placing on a table or on the wall. The advantage of mounting it on the wall is that it comes with everything to be securely fitted and protected. It comes with its base, screws, and the instructions are very well described. Additionally, on the inside behind the bottle, there is a hole to insert an anti-theft screw that can be tightened to the wall. This works well if you place it in a public place, helping to deter theft. This is an important detail, especially considering that it's not the most economical of diffusers.It is designed to work with wireless batteries and also with a USB-C cable connected to the side of the diffuser. I downloaded the app from the App Store, and it works perfectly via Bluetooth. As soon as I turned it on, it immediately connected. The QR code for downloading the app is provided in the box and the instruction manual.Although it's not the most economical, this diffuser is for those who want to easily control their home through their phone in an automated manner. It has the option to set schedules and atomization quantities. Highly recommended, a quality product. Beautiful, minimalist, and up-to-date

Leaks over everything damaging furniture glass

The machine itself is a five star device, but the app is one star.I've had a bottle of essential oil on my windowsill for months now, and while it smells amazing up close the reed diffusers do absolutely nothing. I can't smell it when I enter the room, so it's pretty much money down the drain. As soon as I emptied the bottle into the Meidi diffuser, though, my office was filled with an incredible citrus scent. This thing does a fantastic job of diffusing the oil. Of course the drawback is that it will work through that oil much quicker than natural evaporation, but at least I can smell it.The machine is very easy to set up, and you can power it via either USB or batteries (4 are included in the box). It comes with an attachment kit of screws, 3M adhesive and a backing plate in case you want to wall mount it, but it'll stand on its own quite stably if you just want to have it freestanding.Now I'm done with the good points, on to the bad. The app kinda sucks.You can only control the device through the app. There are no physical controls on the device beyond the power switch to initiate pairing. The app is very simple, with just two options. You can either tap the screen to set off a manual spray or add a 'working plan', a schedule that allows you to set the hours and days of operation, along with the interval between sprays. A few problems here.1: The app comes preloaded with several working plans, but there is no option to delete them. If you don't want one, or if you add a working plan that you no longer want, it's stuck in the menu forever (though I guess you can amend it rather than add a new one).2: There's no indication of *which* schedule is active. There should be a check mark or something beside the active working plan so you know what's going on, but there's nothing.3: The app wouldn't accept my new working plan. I set it to run from 2PM to 3AM, my working hours in the office, every day with a spray interval of 20 minutes, and clicked to confirm it. A few minutes after I confirmed the plan I noticed that the device was still spraying every minute. It was working on a schedule I hadn't selected, but because there's no check mark I had no idea which. I had to go into all four schedules and shift the intervals to 20 minutes for each just to stop the machine from burning through all my oil with sprays every minute.So, yeah. Five stars for the device, but because the app truly sucks I have to knock off a star. Please improve the app, Meidi.

Where do I start? I was really looking forward to getting this diffuser. It’s a nice looking machine. It has a very modern design. It’s pretty much made off of plastic. It comes with a set of batteries which I think it’s a plus. Setup was fairly simple. I did have one issue in the set up in the app. When I was trying to set it up. I was getting a low battery message in the app. I went and tested the batteries and they were good. I even try to put in some brand new batteries that I had bought myself still got the same message, and it would make this annoying beeping sound that kinda reminded me of a smoke detector when the battery is going low, but once I plug it in to a power source that goes away and it shows the battery is fully charged and the annoying beeping sound goes away. The other issue that I have with this diffuser as you can see in the video is that it created a mess in my bathroom. I walked in my bathroom and saw Oil all around my sink. Apparently it’s blowing out too much oil and not fine enough. I even set it to the lowest setting where it would only spray out for 10 seconds and idle for about five minutes and still I come back a few hours later the same mess is around my sink. If it wasn’t for those two issues, this would be a perfect diffuser. I really wanted to like it but those two things right there just made me very disappointed.
