Well packaged, i have to say. The contents are all packaged neatly inside a box, itself inside a delivery box.The light is self assembly. Assembly is quiet easy..The instructions are not so easy to follow though. They seam upside down. A little interpretation and you'll have them up in no time.Each part is separately wrapped. Each spindle, each self of each section, wrapped in non recyclable plastic.The foot switch controls both lights and the pull cord on the top light only controls the top light. You can turn on both lights, hide the pull cord upi sides itself and just use the foot switch to turn both lights on and off.The spindles seam to be glued together, at least the inner screw hole conne ting each se tion is glued in.The top doesn't have a top so to speak. It is open so you cannot put anything on top of it.Changing the lights, the top is easy as there is no top. The bottom, there is no way to change the light without unscrewing the bottom panel.Overall, I like the look of the lights, assembly is easy enough and they do the job..just a shame they feel cheep and the bottom light will be a chore to change.

Turned up well packed easy to put together and looks stunning when turned on

Looks good only a subtle light the foot control is handy saves pulling plug out.
