For constructionists everywhere
So often, though the permanent ink quality of a lot of permanent markers is fine for smooth, dry, dust-free surfaces, their life span is shortened by abrasion and detritus from the tough surfaces they are used on. This set of 12 permanent markers from Artline are ideal for the tricky surfaces that constructionists encounter regularly. Robust in design for rough service, they feature an aluminum barrel for durability in the tool-bag, and a special bullet-point tip for brush-like performance on difficult and abrasive surfaces. Fantastic for construction purposes.

Great value
This is a nice pack of markers I do demo and excavation so I am not just writing on concrete on other surfaces e.g. drywall doesn't write as well.

Works well on block
This concrete marker marks block well. It dries fast and holds up well to the demo saw spraying water on it. The tip of the marker seems very hard and doesn't chew up like sharpie's. I like it so far. It seems very durable as I've marked about 40 block that needed cut. Lasts much longer than sharpie's.

Easier and cleaner than spray paint, a little thin
These ‘Artline Professional Concrete Permanent Markers’ are useful just as described, for marking concrete. Unlike other markers that are designed for smoother surfaces and wear out on the tips with just a few passes on a rough surface, these markers stay pretty sharp. I tried them out on a concrete tank with a cover. Every time we remove the cover it has to be lined up just right to set back on correctly. In the past I’ve used spray paint, which works, but makes too blotchy of a line. These markers are much better. As you can see from the photo, a single pass of the marker leaves a rather thin line (they should offer a thicker marker or a set of various sizes) but you can double up and it shows up better. In the photo the single pass is in the middle.

Fine.
Literally fine. The line it draws is very thin. They do seem to work well on just about any surface though and so far the ones i've opened haven't dried out. Not bad markers at all but i prefer a thicker line for rough concrete.

Like These!
Cool markers! I had to do some marking outdoors, and these are perfect. I don’t think they mark any ‘smoother’ or ‘better’ than a sh@rpi3 does, but I DO think the nib is more robust, and will last longer than those other markers, when using them on rough surfaces. And I think that’s the point of them. Each one comes individually wrapped, and the body is a lightweight aluminum. Ink dries fast. I will enjoy using these inside and outside. 👍

obvious coloration!
Markers make precise markings on rough surfaces. They have durable nibs and quick-drying ink, and the black ink is clearly visible, but the smell is very pungent.
