This one is a bit smaller than a similarly shaped memory-foam one I purchased from KMart 2 years ago, but as I purchased this new one for my 7-year-old granddaughter who takes my pillow when she comes for a sleepover at Nana's house it will be fine for her.UPDATE: I attempted to use this pillow myself before I gave it to my granddaughter, but noticed a chemical odor with my head on the pillow. I am attempting to wash the pillow to see if the odor can be removed. Drying it, however, is taking more than 24 hours and the white cotton cover is coming unraveled at the seams due to the extreme effort required to squeeze the water out of the pillow. I put lavender oil in the wash water to replace the original bad odor. I will update later after it dries.2nd Update- It took 5 days to dry, just before I gave it to my granddaughter for her birthday. The bad chemical smell is gone however there are some 1, 2 and even a 3 inch tear in the memory foam. The cotton cover and the bamboo cover over that hides it, but it is still damaged but not noticeable with the two covers and the pillow case...and she LOVES it!!

Bought this pillow a 6 days ago and I can already tell the difference. I have never had neck surgery but I have had neck issues including pinched nerves and bulging dics always causing me constant discomfort and sometimes severe pain. I mostly aggervated my neck while I slept waking up in pain. This pillow took me a few days to get use to as I am a side sleeper and I toss and turn alot all night. Once I got use to it my sleep improved, the tossing and turning has decreased, and instead of waking up every day with a sore neck the soreness is gone. I'm sure that long term use of this pillow will give me great relief. The only thing I would change is getting the same pillow with a gel top for a cooling option because this pillow can hold heat.

You should have seen it out of the bag! There was a moment there when I thought I had been had. However, it expanded... to this. Not what I expected. I keep meaning to really try and sleep with it, but I gave one to my mom and she seems to like it. Sleeps on it. She liked the way it cradled her head.

I wish it was just a little higher, but I have a big head. (I'm 6'2") easily adjusted with flat worn out pillow under it. Very soft and comfy with good neck support. A tall and short side allow you to adjust depending on preferred sleeping position.

I kept waking up with neck pain. Nothing crazy, just enough to be annoying. What happened though, is I kept waking with pain and it would turn into a tension headache throughout the day, after putting on several hats and doing many jobs.So I thought, hey, maybe I need some more neck support when I sleep. Lightbulb.So I used a throw pillow (one of my thousands set on, and removed from, my bed daily -- ladies, you hear me) and it was amazingly supportive, but way too high, causing my neck to experience another sort of ache.Anyways, long story short, get the damn pillow. It is the perfect height, got rid of my awful neck pain, and finally gives me a great night's rest. Neck is happier, I'm happier. You can't beat the price, honestly.

I wish I had paid more attention to the measurements of this pillow. It is very small, about half the size of a standard queen size pillow. " This may be an accurate statement for a petite adult or child, but due to the small size it it very uncomfortable for average to larger person.

I bought this so I could have a nice pillow while traveling, but now use it as my normal pillow. it supports my head as a side sleeper but does not make my ears go numb (I don't roll at all so if a pillow is too dense my ear goes numb). And it rolls up nicely into the sleeve that comes with it so now I will be taking this everywhere I go. I took it on my last long plane ride, fits into my big travel purse and is nice to open and use to sleep while on the plane. And the price is great! I think I'll buy a second in case I accident leave it at a hotel.

This pillow is very soft, but that’s part of the problem. The hump is too soft and doesn’t support your neck at all. The pillow itself is also tiny! Maybe I missed that in the description, but it’s definitely a travel pillow. It’s half of the size of my standard size pillow (height, width, and length).
