They have a nice plastic protector. Peel it off and it's solid!

Sturdy, great deal
The stands are sturdy and do the job they are supposed to do. I grabbed these to put platters on top of. The lengths of each stand was good but I do wish they were wider than 3" for greater stability of larger platters but they worked out okay. It's a great price for the number of pieces it comes with.

Im an idiot
Got these and were super disappointed about them until i realized you have to peel off a protective film… the film is hard to get off but they look great when you do
