The lamp is easy to assemble. Base is nice and solid. The light has 3 setting and works well in a small room. If you’re looking for a bright light this may not be the one for you. Perfect for me when I choose not to use the recessed lighting.

I was surprised when I saw the small box that this lamp came in and thought that it would likely be flimsy. It went together easily without reading any directions. The base is heavy and the lamp is sturdy. The lampshade was interesting to put together. The fabric part wraps around the top and bottom metal pieces and velcros together. After about 24 hours I couldn't see where the folds were and would never guess that it was flat when it arrived. I love that it has a chain pull to turn it on and off....easier to get to. One down side is that it takes multi-pulls to change brightness (One pull/bright, next pull/off, next pull/Medium, next pull/off, next pull/low, next pull/off). For me, I will likely use it on bright most often, so this may be a nuisance. But overall, this is a nice lamp, and I will likely purchase another.

I ordered 2. It's a very nice looking lamp, it has a very heavy base so it's not easily knocked over. The pull down chain and adjustable height is such a help. The only thing I am not a fan of is the lowest setting for the light bulb, way too dark. The medium and high setting brightnesses work well.

The best part is that it is adjustable. I was a little afraid when I saw that I had to construct the shade, but it was super easy and looks great. Love this lamp.

This was easy to assemble and is of excellent quality. A bonus was that it was delivered on time as promised.

Right now, I can't splash out on a fancy lamp, so I've been hunting for a cheaper one on Amazon. I stumbled upon a lamp that looks pretty sturdy, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's long-lasting. My first impression is definitely good.

I ordered this and the expectation surpassed. It fits the style I was looking for perfectly. It was extremely easy to put together with pictures step by step. I was impressed with the way the shade came and unfolded nice. And it even came with a light bulb which I didn’t expect at all. Highly recommend. Happy with my purchase.

Good looking, minimalist style lamp. It's functional and practical. Wish it was brighter, but, adjustability makes up for just enough brightness for reading. Alabaster base is quality touch, rather than plated brass.

This lamp had so much potential! Nice heavy base, brass-like metal, and it's attractive. BUT it is wobbly at the base where it is screwed in, and it leans slightly. Also, the shade is about 5 cm too short, so it doesn't cover all the velcro. Not worth the cost. I've seen better at Home Sense, and I'm considering returning this.
