Smooth paper
Smooth paper. It is very good if you layer and blend a lot. Pencil doesn't smudge a lot.

Smooth paper stock
This was affordable for what it is (100 sheets basic sketchbook), but when it arrived I realized it has much smoother paper than I'm used to in whatever brand I had before. It's fine, but better for ink/pens or markers (although markers would bleed through) than pencil or other dry media, in my opinion. It's just a personal preference, but I like a little more tooth to sketch paper.

Good sketch pad with thick pages
Good sketch pad. Got it for my son. The pages are thick so they dont rip easily and he loves that it has the spirals on top not the side so he has more room to draw.

Very nice paper for colored pencil drawings or colorings
I've done several colorings using colored pencil with this paper and they turn out very nicely. I like the medium tooth of the paper.
