3M Dual Lock SJ 3550 Adhesive Pad 25.4 x 50mm, Set of 12, THE ORIGINAL

Have bought these before but 1/3 of them came already used? Not great as I plan to use all of them and have to reorder. There are also no options for replacements.

These are great! The 3M backing is strong and typical 3M quality, whilst the velcro is strong, very strong! I use these for certain bits around the house and haven’t faulted me at all. In fact, I’ve just bought some more.

9 times out of 10 3M's Dual Lock does the job. The actual hook and loop mechanism never fails. Its super strong. But the adhesive isn't so reliable. I've got pieces up that are still up years later. I've had other items lose their adhesiveness after 2 days. You'll probably be absolutely fine with yours...but...just to be on the safe side, make sure the surfaces you stick your velcro to are given a good wipe down beforehand to stand the greatest chance of success.

Used to hold car number plates on, easy to fit plates still secure after 3 months.

A very useful product. For some applications the force needed to mate the halves is a bit high. This is only a problem in some situations. I will buy more when these are used up.

I wanted to mount a plug extention to the underside of a desk. two of these worked well. They detatch easily when needed, and stay on securely when needed, too. They are easily attached, by pealing off the back and sticking them to the surface. Recommended.

Left for 24 hours on both surfaces before applying all fell off wall by 0300 damaging the decorative vase and items on desk below including sons new air pods these shelves weigh about a lb really disappointed and fuming at damage caused now I have to try and remove from wall to return what’s left for a refund.. total weight on one shelf 60grams
