I have not tried many ear pugs, just the basic foam ones. These are so great compared to the basic ones. I work nights and sleep during the days, while my husband, toddler and 2 dogs run the house. With these in I don't wake up to all the noise they make. Where I was waking up several times a day with the basic foam ear plugs in. I took the hard green plastic pieces out of the foam as they stuck out of my ears and when I laid on my side they would push the ear plugs too deep into my ears to be comfortable. I am going to buy another pair of these as a back up. Also I use the sleep mask and it is very good at blocking light, comfortable to sleep in and stays in place during sleep.

Received these thinking I'd be able to use them to study and block out noise from the rest of the house (baby, husband, dogs, etc.). They didn't work at all. I attempted to return them, and even though their page says, "100% satisfaction guarantee. Free returns, no questions asked." I had to pay shipping to return. They should update their claims, as they are false. What a disappointment. Amazon customer service, on the other hand, is amazing.

I dislike the earplugs so much. I do think the earplug case is a nice touch. The mask worked really well and is comfortable, but I have only had it for a few months and it is already ripping.

I so badly want to like these. But they are impossible to sleep in. They hurt my ears. They do block a good bit of sound for me. But they are really not comfortable for side sleepers. Seems like foam is the only way to go, which is disappointing as I was hoping for a reusable option.

Both are winners for me! The earplugs are difficult at first to "fit" to your ears but great once adjusted to using them. The mask is nice becauseit doesn't smash your eyelids at all; the nose piece is an improvement to the all flat style.

Don't block out much sound. Hurt my ears even though my ears are used to wearing ear plugs.Ex: With other ear plugs, I have to put my hand on my husbands chest to feel the vibrations to hear his words. With these, he can be across the room and I can still understand what he's saying.

The ear plugs didn't work. I could still hear cars driving outside and my roommates talking. The sleeping mask was uncomfortable to sleep in and didn't stay around my head or on eyes. There was also still light bleeding in through the bottom of the mask.

These ear plugs are no better, indeed worse, than the cheap foam ones that they give away on the airline overnight flights. Pushing these "USA made best ear-plugs" in in far enough to reduce the noise both hurts my ears and still doesn't reduce background noise as well as the free ones.
