Good value
The speakers are pretty good for the money. Not a lot of bass when hooked up to amp but thats what the sub woofer is for. Overall a good value. Id probably go with something else though like the Orion Cobalt CM65 speakers. Yes they are more expensive but they are quite a bit superior and still cheap in my opinion.

ok for OEM replacement
This review is for the 6" sized 2-way speaker. I have a set of 4-ways by the same company and I actually prefer the sound of these ones over those. Though obviously the high end frequencies aren't as good I think the mid and lower frequencies come out better on these ones. That being said, I don't think they're quite as bass-heavy as my old ones, but probably on par with my Sony XSR1346 4-ways (those have a broader total range, though..)I didn't notice any sort of resistors or extra electronics, so I believe whatever signal goes to the outer cone also goes to the inner cone.I would classify these as OEM-replacement grade; they sound about the same as the set I replaced due to weather damage.. these ones are a rated at a higher wattage than normal factory-installed speakers, though (in my case anyway), so just something to keep in mind; if your old stereo is only pushing out like 10 watts, these aren't going to sound very good unless you match them with something that makes sense.TL;DR, 3 stars for being ok for quick replacements, but if you're upgrading to a premium system then I would do some further research before committing.

Not my first chioce
These speakers don't exactly scream "high quality" to anyone. The metal mesh that arrives with them is a pain to install, and mine arrived bent even though they were safely tucked in the perfectly intact white box. Not sure how that happens unless it happened at the production line. I opted to leave them off because I didn't want to damage anything further. Once hooked up and mounted onto a box, I was pleasantly surprised to hear the sound was actually quite good. However, you can get name brand speakers in this size for just a little bit more money, and they'll have higher quality, higher sound quality, and higher power limits. Get these if you're aiming for a bottom dollar budget build but still want decent sound. If you want something that's going to revolutionize your music listening experience, then these are not it.

Disappointing quality
This is my second set of speakers from this manufacturer. First set was a 4-way coaxial that sound great and had much better quality control. This set is very different. Shipped in a plain white box, no instructions, not that you need them, and only half the screws needed to mount them. At first glance these look like great speakers. Cones are polypropylene and look to be well made but there are issues.Baskets had nearly all the mounting tabs bent. Magnets have chips almost all around the top side between the basket and magnet. The grills are absolutely horrible. Two piece design made from cheap plastic with a pop out metal mesh that absolutely will not stay in place. There is no way to secure it unless you decided to use some kind of adhesive.I'm installing these in another shed without the grills and call it good. If they are anything like the last set then they will at least sound good. Overall very disappointed in the quality and will search elsewhere future speakers.

Good quality
These 6 inch speakers are of good quality, and preliminary testing is positive. Husband has hooked these up to check the sound, and is pleased with the results. Installation seems easy, and the screws and cables are included. Husband says cables look kind of thin so you might want to upgrade.
