Nice light fixture
Very pleased with this fixture, has a vintage look, is all metal, and has everything needed to hang. I bought an LED bulb for it and it looks great.

Base is too small for older cieling boxes
The base / box cover is only 3.75" wide, too small to close off a typical ceiling box in an older home. I bought and modified a blank ceiling box cover to make it work for me. I want the fixture closer to the ceiling than designed and was able to remove the rod connecting the fixture directly to the base. Item is not exactly as pictured,. but very close. Standard assembly hides a nice decorative knurled nut. I cut a spacer piece from a PVC pipe coupler to fill the space so the knurled nut is visible. It would be nice if they supplied a spacer or two nuts so you can keep it exposed. I also wrapped the bottom of the shade with white vinyl as a reflector. For the price this is a great buy, especially if you are handy. With my mods and a vintage look LED bulb I love the look.
