Great Cup Of Coffee
I saw some mixed reviews here and realize that coffee aroma and flavor are a subjective experience. For me, this was a great roast. Prepared with a medium grind and pour over (Clever), the flavor is smooth yet bright. In fairness, I have not tried other brands of Yirgacheffe beans but I would not hesitate to order this one again. It compares very favorably to other single origin light roast coffees.

Really good coffee!
Has excellent flavor, tastes better for this type of coffee than some decidedly pricier and well respected brands.

Almost There
I'll start by saying that when it comes to coffee and flavor, all statements are subjective, and my are no different. Having said that, and having purchased Yirgacheffe coffee for a while now, I found that this particular brand will appeal more to those who want a darker roast in their beans. Personally, I prefer a lighter, medium roast. In my personal scale, this Stone Street roast falls a bit on the darker side of the scale, infusing a slight flavor that takes you in the direction of a French roast style with hints of smokiness. Nothing wrong with that, though, if your flavor preference inches in that direction. Preferring a lighter flavor profile myself, my preference lies in a somewhat opposite direction. But was it bad? Not at all. Quite enjoyable overall, but next time I'll go a bit lighter.

Don't expect high quality Yirgacheffe
The beans are not exactly "Light roast" and lack a bit of the natural characteristics of a true Yirgacheffe. We like bright, acidic, fruity, citrusy...this was a bit bland and tasted more like a medium roast. Affordable, but I will look at other options for our next bag.

This isn't actually light roast
As soon as i opened the bag I could tell this wasn't light roast. Medium roast at best. I can't stand dark roast coffee. Its been roasted too long and tastes burnt. It's a disgrace to the beans and those who grew them. Unfortunately this product isn't eligible for a return so I'll be over here drinking burnt bean coffee for a while. Thanks.
