Dead on arrival
Product arrived after being shipped back and forth to different USPS stations, address label was smudged so they had a hard time figuring out where it was going. (Use something more stout?)Plugged unit in once I received it and let it charge for ~2 hours. LED light (single), blinked the whole time. After unplugging, on/off doesn't do anything when holding for 3 seconds or anything more or less. Plugged unit back in and you can turn it to the different strobe patterns but apparently battery isn't really charging or holding a charge. Charging being done on a wall receptacle with usb ports which are new and work for phones and everything else. Shame as they are bright but apparently this one can't charge. Also no option for a new one to be shipped/return old one in that package, I have to pay for it to go back. Will find another brand.

Firehouse Technology "Dual Drone Strobe Light"
I installed this on the right front strut of a DJI Mavic Pro using a short piece of Velcro tape. I've only checked this out to about 1000 feet, but it is highly visible in bright sunlight. In bright sunlight, it is difficult to see the camera image on a tablet so I frequently fly by visual sighting. Mounted on the strut, facing forward, gives me a visual indication when drone is flying towards me. The regular lights on the drone are difficult to see in bright sunlight. The run time for the strobe far exceeds the flying time for the three batteries I usually carry.

This is for daylight
I use these in daylight to help me locate my drone. It is easily lost against vegetation or a busy background. I'm not talking about extreme distances, 100 feet up and within 50 yards. I bought one of these (single strobe) a couple of years ago and it was worthless. I now have two of these, one on each side, and if they're flashing, I can find the drone within 15 to 20 seconds when I already know where to look. If it is not flashing, I won't find it. Be sure not to look at the strobes less than 10 feet away!
