This is sturdy pretty with a vintage look and just what I was looking for it's a gift for an 18 year old who loves to read so the key was important as she unlocks another chapter in her life.Although sturdy I wouldn't think it suitable as a letter opener as the edges are smooth not sharp I did look at many bookmarks and to be honest they all looked flimsy and easily breakable in comparison also some over priced this one just right and ticks all the right boxes as a buyer
