I used these in an outdoor application exposed to the sun, wind and rain...they've held up so far. If they fail prematurely then I will update my review.

Used them in a very unconventional way in a means to hold certain car bumper parts together for gluing. Double sided 3m adhesive held up while zip tying several of these components held the part up very well; without having the use of a third hand to hold the damaged bumper together. Note it did eventually sheer off, but by the time that happened the bumper had been fixed. A good tool.

Be aware that these are small mounts. This is what I wanted and they suit my purposes (RC Planes). Just be careful or you may think they are too small. Since they are small, they don't have a lot of adhesive so they won't hold really big weights.

I used these outdoors on a painted wooden railing to hand Christmas lights. Temps in the 20’s and holding strong. So far, the only failure happened because the paint came loose from the wood. Adheres very good and simple to use!

Adhesive is ok but not best for hanging small wire under things like shelves or cabinets. I ended up using small screws in the center of each.

These work great to peel and stick. With the vibration on a boat I install a #8 FH screw to guarantee holding after tying wires.

I like it's ease of use. Adhesive is surprisingly sticky. Easily secured 25-ft, medium-duty extension cord along drywall surface (wall and ceiling!) in garage, as well as LED Ceiling lights (Only required two for each light!). Have also used it indoors on painted surfaces. Excellent. May need to get more soon.

These are crap don't buy them never been so upset to get them to stick to plastic

I have had to replace 5 or 6 in the space of 1 week and that is just for holding up lights on a balcony, definitely no where near the claim of 18-55lbs.
