So always looking for an item to prolong the life of my expensive candles this is amazing it diffuses the scent around the room and it is lovely to look at

Clean smooth lines to look at. Easily dusted stands solid on cupboard. Giving off the lovely aroma from candle. It's a great idea especially if worried about real flame in case of fire. Looks good anywhere fits into any design room. Which is an important factor so can be bought for a any household. Love the concept. Worth the money.

I like the idea of having this instead of a naked flame as I do have a tendency to light them and fall asleep on the sofa so I haven’t been lighting candles. This is ideal and great for use in bedrooms as you get so many sleep candles. It has a timer and you can control how bright and intense you want it. The only downside is you can’t raise it so having large candles under it is a problem. Ideal for smaller ones.

This lamp does exactly what it says on the packet, so why only three stars? Let's just say it is one of the cheapest on Amazon, but probably for a reason. Firstly, it arrives looking to be well packaged however, once extracted from the box I discover the arm is twisted sideways and the shade is bent in the opposite direction - the result of poor packing I imagine. Some time spent carefully rectifying the distortions, I move on. It comes with two bulbs which are variously described in the product description as being 35W and 50W, the ones I received are 50W. Insert a bulb, turn on, lasts two seconds and then fails - not a great start! Insert a second bulb and away we go, place candle on base and it works! Given I'm using a 50W bulb, it is costing a lot in electricity to produce the fragrance that the candle will produce for free, once lit. Yes, I get the lack of flame / smoke and the safety issues, but these are only offset at a significant cost. Yes I get all the reasons for this to exist, but it is still consuming unnecessary energy doing a job that doesn't need doing, whilst just looking pretty. Hand on heart, this is just a gimmick, you either want a proper candle or you don't. If you don't, just buy an air freshener.

This works as well as my old branded [aka pricier] ones did. Not a single criticism so far.I'll update my review if I ever experience any issues.
