Excellent Reading
I have been a fan of Kate White's books since reading HUSH and THE SIXES. This one certainly did not disappoint.Robin is on top of the world. She's written a book that's heading for the Top Ten and she's co-anchor of a prospering TV show. But things are starting to fall part. First there's the note stuffed in her purse calling her a not-so-nice name. Then there' the cockroach in her coffee, which I actually thought was worse than the Barbie Doll left for her with the eyes gouged out.And until the makeup she normally uses before going on air is tampered with and contaminated with an acid, does anyone start to believe there's a problem. There are several people who might be responsible... everyone from her boss to the show's anchor, and assorted friends .. or are they?Added to the mystery is that as a child, her stepmother would do the same kinds of things to her and then convince her father that she was doing those things to herself. So the question is ... is there really someone out to get her ... or is she doing these things to herself ?The book is very well-written. It starts out as so hopeful and then with each turn of the page you can sense the unease in Robin's life. The author did a great job in making sure there were plenty of suspects you could point your finger at and say 'AHAH'. But you won't really know until the last few pages.I highly recommend this book for anyone who likes psychological mysteries rather than blood and guts ..

Eyes on You
Robin is making a comeback with her career … the book she has just published is skyrocketing on the charts and she has landed back on TV. Of course, viewers are taken in by the easy rapport she has with her co-host, Carter. Someone at the station is apparently not happy with Robin’s success, or just with Robin herself. Some creepy things start to happen to her … a note left in her purse at a book signing, a poisoned brownie, a bug in her coffee (can you imagine?!?), and a mutilated Barbie doll left in her office. Oh, and let’s not forget the internet searches that lead back to her. There are some interesting characters in this tale … Robin herself. Carter, her good-looking co-host. Ann, Robin’s best friend. Maddy, a cousin to Robin. Alex, Bettina, the bosses at the TV station, and a whole host of others who get involved in this tale of whodunnit. Oh, and Sharon.I found myself trying to figure this one out. I thought it was person A, a most unlikely suspect, but then I changed my mind to person B because that was another unlikely suspect. It is quite intriguing how Ms. White is able to drop subtle hints to lead the reader to believe it is person A, but then leaves the reader thinking maybe it’s person B or even person C. Who really is the whodunnit in this tale? If you read this one, let me know if you figured it out before the end. This one definitely has the right kind of ‘creep’ factor intertwined with some interesting relationships.

Good
Liked the book, it just seemed to drag a bit towards the end but at the same time I did have to finish it.

Great Read, As Usual, From Kate White
I read some negative reviews about Eyes on You: underdeveloped characters; thin plot; too boring to even finish. I had to wonder if we had even read the same book. I admit to being a Kate White fan. I haven't read a book of hers that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed, and this book was no exception. Essentially Eyes on You had me at "Hello". I found the characters interesting and the story compelling. This was not a book I wanted to put down, though I did finally cave to get a few hours of sleep. I always try to guess where the story is going, and who a guilty part may be. With lesser authors I often guess correctly, but Kate White is gifted in her genre of writing. I can honestly say, "I did not see that coming".

Not too scary but it makes you wonder - who is the jerk?!
This was a pretty good book! I enjoyed the characters, and I enjoyed the story line. This book moved pretty fast and I was hooked on it pretty early on! Being famous is not easy, and this book will tell you why! It's a good suspense novel and I would recommend that you give it a shot! :)

A real page turner!
I haven’t read a book like this in a while. It really keeps you guessing and the creepy stuff that keeps happening to the heroine will keep you reading to find out. This is the first book I’ve read by Kate White and I will definitely read her others.

not one of Kate White's best or worst
Okay read, not one of Kate White's best or worst. It is pretty brainless but moves along nicely. Surprise twists add to suspence. It is a good escape read if that is what one is looking for or needs at the moment.

Intriguing and suspenseful
This was a well written and really good suspense story. It wasn't fast paced or heart pumping, but it was very engaging. As the story kept building it kept you guessing who the evil doer really was. This was my first time reading this author and I was very impressed. I will certainly read more in the future.
