Nice coaches board!
The Bestcan coaches board is an upgrade for me and hopefully it makes it through a season and I will tell you why. There is a reason I have always used the cheapest coaching boards I can find and never upgraded to something like this (which isn't a big upgrade other than it's twice the price of my other boards) or even better yet, get with the times and use a tablet and an app and let technology help out.Yes, I'm that coach that will slam, throw, kick, and punch my clipboards ( I have a habit of breaking them over my knee now) when I don't get a call or a player misses the open man or takes a bad shot. Just about anything can get to me, especially in a tight game. Now don't take me as a Bob Knight type coach, I don't cuss or yell or grab my players by the throat. I will however quietly break a coaching clipboard, and I've gotten so good at it that unless your a player sitting on my bench next to me, you have no idea I even did it. I don't argue with refs, or anyone else, haven't been tossed from a game, or anything like that over it, but my last quiet outburst was caught by the league head honcho. I wasn't punished or anything like that but I was asked politely to try and not do it again. He actually got a good laugh out of it and couldn't believe how calm I looked snapping the clipboard over my knee. So this coaches board is a baby step toward stopping the behavior. Im hoping the upgrade will make me think first before snapping it in half. I generally like to keep my things looking nice and I take care of them.I will say, what I really like about this coaches board, is the faux leather on the outside cover. It not only gives the board a nice look, it feels padded so should also protect the board. The actual inside board is in color, so that's a nice touch. I also like that you have a full court on one side and a half court on the other. This will help with drawing up quick plays. Im not a fan of the magnets for this board. Not because they are bad quality or anything like that, I just feel like it takes to long to move them around and into position. It's much easier and faster for me to draw lines to where I want players moving to. I also wasn't sure why they made the #1 magnets a different color, and why they have the magnets numbered to 11. I only put 5 players on the court at a time and they are numbered 1-5. The only reason I could think of was they made the magnets for basketball and soccer. So they just put one set of magnets in each board and it doesn't matter if its basketball or soccer, the magnets are interchangeable. I know nothing about soccer, so I could be wrong, its just a guess. Lastly, the dry erase marker it came with I tossed in the trash. I am constantly drawing up plays or defenses and from my experience, those type of dry erase markers run out quickly or they dry out fast. I use Expo dry erase markers and eraser, they work so much better.

Needs to be more rigid with stronger magnets
Not a bad idea and it works. It writes decent and erases ok. The magnetic numbers fall off in transport after they've been removed from the packaging. The board is not as rigid as your traditional boards. I used it for church league coaching 9-11 year olds and it worked just fine. I just ended up losing some of the magnets in transit and they do make it easier for younger kids to follow their roles in an offensive/defensive explanation.

Nice coaching tool
This board is a nice variation to the normal dry erase board. I like the magnet feature so you can move the players around to show the team where they should be going. No need to erase and draw over. The only thing I’m not crazy about is that both the 1s are not the same color (see in picture) as the rest of the team so the boys get confused, not the end of the world as I usually use “10” for point guards. Good quality board. It will take a beating in my bag and should last a few years.

Sturdy and a perfect gift for coach.
I purchased this for my 4th grade son's basketball coach for Rec Ball with Upward. I have used dry erase boards in the past and they just don't hold up. When I saw this with magnetics AND dry erase I think it will hold up longer. Is comes together in a binder type folder that folds closed and also has a carrying strap. This makes it sturdy. It has a 1/2 court on one side and full court on the other. The coach was very thankful for the gift and has used it for the last two games. It has really helped to explain certain moves, likes blocks and passing. Very helpful and a great gift.

Nice Whiteboard for Basketball Coaches - Magnets are nice, but not for game time.
I’ve been helping coach my son’s travel basketball team, and we always seem to be in need of a board to draw up plays. Having this handy has been a help at practice and during the tournaments. It’s a magnetic dry erase board in a fake leather binder. This format is nice, because we can stock it with preprinted lineup sheets making getting ready for a game that much easier. The magnets are nice especially during a practice to show players on the court, but don’t really make sense for game situations. The folder format is also nice because it provides 2 boards (half court and full court) and closed keeps your play design safe from getting scuffed up in the bag. This is nicer than a standard clipboard, and provides more flexibility. Thanks for reading, I hope this is helpful.

Folded up it actually looks really, really nice with the faux leather cover! Very functional too
This looks much nicer than I had expected, the "coach board" cover looks like a premium coaching tool. Then, once opened, the full and half-court diagram boards are good and useful, with a dry erase marker and magnetic positional buttons to easily be able to set up plays, draw rotations, etc. Highly recommend if you're a coach, teaching your own kids, or as a gift for a fellow basketball fan who might want to do the same.

What every basketball coach needs
This is a great dry erase board - perfect for drawing up plays. I love that you have both a full court and a half court option. When I'm coaching my 3rd grade girls team, this will definitely come in handy. Highly recomemnd.
