Game-changer
This book is about such an important topic and will be a reference guide for future policies on global warming and food shortages. The author describes British success in the creation of the Blue Belt in the UK Overseas Territory waters. The chapter on Ascension Island is especially nail-biting, wondering whether the Blue Belt would actually happen. Closer to home, the author writes with affection about the shores of Lyme Bay, Dogger Bank and Arran etc. The book is not a dry scientific treatise but is written in a conversational tone, as if being narrated in the pub or at the kitchen table. Beautifully illustrated and presented.
