Wears out really fast.
I've had it a year and already one button doesn't connect anymore. Just like all the other ones I've had over the years. Too bad I have an entire system in my house which needs these things to work.

Needed for Pool
Replaced 24 year old remote for pool. AND as crazy as it sounds the old remote was also the reason my pool lights were turning off and on randomly. No one ever told me that could be the problem!

works as advertised
I have an attic light with a switch in upstairs room near access point to attic.I wanted a yardlight and bought a LED flood light and wired it to the attic light. Then bought a light switch that is controllable via the Remote control and put next to outside door. Need yardlight? just push the correct button!the controller has way more "buttons" for device control than I think most people/house would ever need.

Use for over 25 years
I’ve used this technology for 25 years. I like the way it has performed. Very reliable. Only issue is that as a unit ages the signal weakens so sometimes it does not traverse across the circuit breakers. Signal enhancers help but sometimes can not overcome the bridge.

X10 products are the best home control products
I use it for wireless control of x10 modules. I have been using these products since the 1980's. My original controllers (3) had only 2 still working, needed a replacement and it works well, Am now working on getting an repeater amplifier to boost the power of the transmissions.

Working like new again.
Don't even remember when I got my old one, has to have been 12 or 15 years ago. Used it daily. Lately was having to hold down button a few seconds or hold up higher or just try a second or third time. New one just like the old days, hold anywhere, click once, and lights turn on or off. They wear out, but takes a long, long time.
