Awesome set

Great books for beginners.

I got the Ladybird books decades ago when my kids were young. They picked up the words quickly. I no longer have the set so I was glad to find that these books are still available. Some of the pictures are a bit dated--girls plays with dolls and boy with truck. Otherwise they are quite nice. My grandson pulls the set out for me to read with him. I was surprised that my mother was familiar with the Ladybird books. She grew up in India. Apparently some British and American families would get the series.

I used the set to teach my daughter many years ago and now to my son. It is a magic. They can read within weeks and it opens a whole new world for them when they realize thay they can read by themselves

These are best books to help with reading. My child has been reading fluently and has improved tremendously when it comes to reading. I would recommend these books for anyone.

I got tired of trying to find the books individually and although it was a pretty penny it works out better to have this set. My son is a new reader and he enjoys the stories. He was so excited when they arrived.

I am teaching my granddaughter remotely. How to read. It is challenging and these books are comprehensive. It is very difficult to get the company to respond to giving the link for connecting to the online support materials. The code does not come in some of the kits. I am now working volumes 7 - 12 and flying blind. The books are expensive I would expect better communication. My granddaughter is very pleased with the boxed set. When time to move to a new level we may look elsewhere.

These books have been used for decades to help children to learn to read.They are comfortingly and reassuringly old-fashioned.As a former teacher of young children I would recommend them whatever other resources you are using.Just work your way through!
