I love Bruce Lee but not Dana White!
I love Bruce Lee and always will but there is way too much Dana White on this documentary because in my opinion he's just making money off the backs of other people like Bruce Lee and the blood and sweat of his fighters in the UFC who he underpays and constantly trashes unless they're a current pet of his and making money for him at the current time then he'll put them up on a pedestal but if not he has no respect for them or anyone so I love any and all documentaries about Bruce Lee of course but this one in my opinion has too much Dana White in it and he doesn't deserve to be in it to the degree that he is in my opinion!

A very nicely done hommage to the incredible and legenday Bruce Lee
This is a very well done documentary on Bruce Lee. Probably the best one ever done on him. There are lots of insightful information about him given to us from all the people who have known him and have been inspired by him throughout the years. A must see for all Bruce Lee fans and fans of martial arts, in general. You will learn a thing or two about martial arts, philosophy, self-discipline, and living life to the fullest. After watching this, you'll know exactly why Bruce Lee is still revered and beloved by millions of people around the world to this day.

Occasional foul mouthing but excellent bio info!
My hubby enjoyed this dvd for his Christmas gift! We didn’t appreciate the foul words or phrases from time to time of the film buuuuut considering the content isn’t exactly about a little girls cup of tea, wasn’t surprised either. Maybe bleeping out the words would have helped but... on ANY note. Excellent excellent doc and bio on Bruce Lee!

Excellent
This is a very entertaining video. I didn't want it to end. There are other good documentaries out there on Bruce Lee, but it's that this one is different from the others and very well made with all the interviews and stories. It goes with a time line on his life from his youth to his end. I really enjoyed the bonus features. Including his Hollywood audition in full, backyard training from his personal films, inspiration-global impact, a short summary of his action films and theatrical trailer. This dvd is like you were hanging out at a Bruce Lee remembrance get together and everyone was telling their own stories on how he impacted their lives while watching footage on him at the same time. There was a bunch of new footage that I have never seen before and a little that I have on other dvd's. It's motivating and inspirational. The quality, color and sound is great.

More like I am a Celebrity and Bruce Lee
The video furnished fine examples of Master Lee moves and part biography.Although in my opinion some of these celebrities giving there feed back should have said less than more.It is a fine example of saying to much and listening very little. So in conclusion the video goes 50-50 part shining light on Master Lee and part Celebrity oriented to sell it, which i dont think its necessary because Bruce Lee products sell by themselves.Get it to see the Master in action but thats it.The only people that I cared to listen to who Bruce was to them was his Wife and Daughter.

*Note - I'm Not a Bruce Lee expert. - Mostly people's opinions About Bruce. - A treat to see wife Linda and daughter Shannon.
*Note - I am Not a Bruce Lee expert - in fact most of what I 'know' is from the DVD "Dragon - The Bruce Lee Story" (and I know that is Not a 100% Factual movie - although it is Great!).Most of this is other people giving their opinions of Bruce. - Some actually met and knew him.It is a treat to see Bruce's widow Linda Lee - and daughter Shannon Lee.There are clips of Bruce and trivia I never knew - but nothing can compare to interviewing a 'Living' person. -And - with Bruce - I get the impression they pieced together what they could.Actor Ed O'Neil is in this, I wondered why - but it turns out - he is some sort of Black-belt.It's a good movie - but I reserve my 5-Start ratings - for the Best! I Am Bruce Lee [Blu-ray]
I enjoyed watching watching dvd I Am Bruce Lee [Blu-ray].It brought backmany memories of watching and remembering the greatest martial artist ofall time .Watching Bruce do his tryout for the part of Kato inthe Green Hornetto some of his moments on film. Bruce had lightning quick movements to hisgreat balance of a cat. Having his fomer wife Linda and his daughter give their input was very helpful also.Ther were other people who also gave their opinion and insight to Bruce Lee.I would highly recommend purchasing this dvd.I would like to thank Amazon for sending me dvd. Keep up the good work.Sincerly,Terry T.

Good but not the best Bruce Lee Documentary
I enjoyed 'Iam Bruce Lee' but to be honest it certainly isn't the best Documentary ever released on the master. It does have some interesting and well balanced interviews with people who either love Bruce Lee or are skeptical of his prowess in Martial Art. Where the Documentary falls down is the typical american style of presentation. For instance, a person will be starting an anecdote and then it cuts to another talking head finishing the anecdote so you never get the full story from the person being interviewed. You also get hit over the head with superimposed titles reminding us of Bruce lees philosophy quotes as they are spoken. Its rather like being treated like a ten year old who is given his first lesson in Bruce lee.The documentary moves very fast, maybe too fast. Rare stills of Bruce are only glimpsed seconds before cutting away to another talking head. The viewer never gets the chance to enjoy or study them long enough, unless you hit the pause of course. I also found using clips from his films as a narrative to actual moments in Bruce's real life rather cheesy. As for rare footage, there isn't a lot here fans haven't seen before. However, near the end of the documentary there is some brilliant footage shot on the set of 'Enter the dragon'. This is probably from actress Ahna Capri's 8mm movie camera. In one segment we get to see Bruce Lee actually doing a disco style boogie on the 'Enter the dragon' courtyard set. Its fun to watch and also see what a natural dancer he really was! This footage could be a clue to what is yet to be shown and never seen before, in the up and coming anniversary release of ETD. 'Iam Bruce Lee' is worth watching, but for me, I still rate " How Bruce Lee changed the world" as the ultimate Documentary.
