It does exactly what it says it will do. I absolutely feel like it would deter an animal which is what I mostly bought it for. Very loud and the flashing light would disorient an animal I believe. I especially love that it's so easy to set off, which is what you'd need if you're attacked. Perfect in an emergency. Size is just right. Not cumbersome at all not so small if drop it in a scuffle. I attached it to my pocket size mace spray which together I feel so much more protected! Especially at the price point of 20 bucks or less. Buy it!

It is loud as it should be and the light is bright and flashes. Seems like it would deter a would be assailant. I bought one for my two daughters and myself. One started college. Her roommate asked what it was and wanted one also. I ended up giving her mine and I ordered another one for myself. It is small and discreet. It clips onto anything; a bag, purse, etc. definitely recommend

So far so good. Pleased with the alarm. A little tough to set it off but thats ok because you don’t want this going off by accident. It seems loud, light is great - just hope you never have to use it. It’s for my 16 year old who just got her license. Momma’s worried. It got 4 stars because of the color. On my monitor it’s clearly mustard… but the name of the color is metallic gold and that’s exactly what color it is. We would’ve rather had mustard. No biggie in the big scheme of things. Will update if needed later. Happy with purchase so far. Would highly recommend. .

The media could not be loaded. It’s loud, looks nice, and is easy to use. However mine is too sensitive. Imagining that I hang it on my daughter’s backpack, it can shout out easily if she runs or play hard with friends. So I will return it because it works but not the way it should be.
