We try to get educational toys and games for my nephew, and while this isn't quite a game, it's interactive nature makes it feel like a game for a child. The colors and graphics are fun, and my nephew's parents are great at doing the exercises with him to make it not feel boring. It's an easy, family-friendly format, and the quality and durability are appropriate for an 8 year old child.

My students took to this quickly. This activity helps them regroup. It increases their number sense and their place value abilities. Kids from all ages could benefit from this. Regrouping is as integral as multiplication for students throughout their academic careers. A lot of math is hated because of a lack of knowledge of regrouping and multiplying.
