After 5 years of owning
I will start off by saying that this has been one of my best buys. I have literally used this chair four a few hours every day for the last 5 years and it is still working smoothly! The only real problems that have arisen is that the material started to flake off about a year ago in the high pressure areas and has recently started flaking off in the not so high pressure areas now. Most people who have used this chair, just love it. There have been a few, however, that said that it was a bit "too much" on their back even at the lowest levels. Personally, for me, I have always used it on Max Level with the full Zero Weight tilt on.The other thing to note is that if you are not 6 foot, the neck massage portions will hit you on the head. There is a pillow attached (which I never use) that you can put in place to stop this. Also, the pillow can be removed and used in the back position for the ones who think its a "bit too much".Still, I've had this chair for 5 years now and I am very satisfied with it. I just need to find a way to re-upholster the material that's on it to make it look new again.

Reliable Work Horse
Got this chair to help my aging parents. It's been a year now and working like a champ! Granted when I purchased it, it was just under 1k. I got the 3 yr Amazon warranty for an addition $300. Because, to me all of the chairs listed looked the same. I went with this one because, it had the most reviews and was the absolute cheapest at the time. How much we use it :- it get used mainly in it's "A1" preprogramed, which consists of ALL Air Bags, Rollers & Knocking for back, in "Zero G" seated position, Foot Rollers circulating, Neck massage.- used a "Minimum" of 2 hrs per day!- 365 days a year!- 2 seniors / 1 adultFailure Point :- The first and ONLY Failure it has is the leather at the Neck = Rollers break through. The leather material cracked making your neck itchy- Failure Occurred in about 2-3 months.- The Fix was to just lay a bath towel over it.What To Look For Before You Purchase :- IF you are 6' + probably Not for you. Legs will most likely Not accommodate length.- If you are 220 lbs + extremely tight fit "Side to Side"Why I Bought This Massage Chair :- Foot Massage / Calve Air Bag Compression = Main Reason- Elderly people are just not as active. Increasing blood flow to your lower extremities is not the easiest thing to achieve.- promote overall circulation through Air Bag Compression. How I Personally Use It :- Customized Program- Air Bags for just Calves & Hips at Maximum Intensity Compression- Max Intensity for Back ( Rollers & Knocking ), Foot Roller, Neck- In "Zero G" position with Heating Pad "On"- 20-30 minutes 3-5 times a week before work. From my point of view this was the absolute best thing I can buy for my parents. It keeps them a lot more mobile than they would be had I not gotten it without a doubt. As for myself... It has made it so, I can afford to skip the gym.... meaning going to the gym is for preventative maintenance. This has given me the ability to NOT have my normal aches and pains. Where in years past I would have to force myself to hit the gym just to get the blood moving to specific muscle groups.I got it for under 1k and with the 3 yrs Amazon Warranty. I know you guys have to pay more now but, "IF" you are seriously dealing with daily pains and aches. I would recommend it. Again for me it was "Bang for the Buck" and this thing is still running strong!Good Luck with your purchase. Hope you are as lucky as I was!

Upgraded Review since purchase in 2017
Updated review from my purchase in December of 2017:My original review gave it 3 Stars but my wife (who uses it almost daily) gives it 5 Stars. (Compromise - 4 Stars.)To be honest, these chairs are great for people of certain sizes (mainly height) which is why I think a lot of people either love it or don’t. In my case, being 5’ 9”, the seat isn’t deep enough and so my thighs don’t fit into the slots and neither do my arms. She is a bit shorter so her thighs fit better, but not her arms. (Which you can’t really use anyways if you are holding the remote to make changes.)Summary of Original Review:Of the various people (different height and weight) who have used the chair, nobody is able to use the channels for the arms or make use of the shoulder bags. (You would have to find a person with an exact body match in order to use these, and seeing that the program starts immediately, the person in the chair would not be able to operate the remote. Both the back and feet rollers can be a bit too much for some people, but you can add padding to help with this. The auto-programs are handy, but I do not like the manual settings because they are based on the chair and not the person sitting in the chair. To explain, the setting are for ALL air bags and/or ALL rollers, etc. A much better system would allow for custom settings for various ‘zones’ such as Feet/Legs, Back/Neck, and Arms/Shoulders. This would allow for the person to select air bags for the legs without being forced to use the rollers on their feet but if you turn off the rollers, it also turns off the rollers for your back. Another nice feature would be to allow the chair to be zero-g feature without using any of the rollers or air bags or to allow the chair to remain in that position after the program has ended.Final thoughts from having the chair for most of a year:While I am happy I got the chair, there are features that can only be used if you are a certain height. These types of chairs are expensive and some are a LOT more expensive and most likely have the same limitations. These chairs are also very big and I highly recommend that you plan on placing it in a corner, especially if you are planning on using the zero-g feature. I don’t use the chair that often, but my wife does, and that’s what makes this purchase worth the expense. :)
