Best Streamer with an awesome DAC
After evaluating several competitor music streamers on the market, I decided to buy the Eversolo A6 Master Edition. This is one of my best buy. The Eversolo A6 Master is truly master-class. It sounds so good. I got rid of my CD player altogether. Paired with my music collection and CD quality hi-res music subscription, I have everything I need. The DAC on this unit is world-class. It is better sounding than the standalone DAC that I paid almost as much as this unit. In addition to being a very capable music streamer, the Eversolo also has a built-in top notch pre-amp. I paired this with my power tube amp. The Eversolo preamp is sweet, clean and warm sounding.Quality: The solid aluminum alloy chassis, brushed pane is a work of art. It is a center piece display unit. The connectors in the back, XLR, RCA, Pre-out, are audiophile grades. Everything here screams high-end.The set up is super easy. The UI is one of the best as it is super easy to use. I got this unit streaming my Apple music and playing my limited music collection in less than 45 minutes after I received it. The Eversolo streams CD quality music over the air. Yes, CD quality if you have a high res streaming service subscription. The build quality is craftsman like. It is beautiful to look at. It is an art for display. The album art on display on that super-sized 6" LCD panel is a work of art. It is super convenient to remote control the unit using the Eversolo app I download on my iPhone. The Eversolo is connected to my home wifi. No drops, no problems. Effortless streaming, beautify music.I highly recommend this to everyone.

This streamer does everything
I have been running the streamer for a few weeks now. I am amazed by the functionality. For me I use Tidal and Apple Music. I love the fact that this unit can download and run Apple Music without having to use AirPlay. It has every input and output you can think of. I have been using the balanced XLR with the internal Dac. It sounds great, very clean and detailed, great separation and sound stage. To me the Dac sounds better than my old Dac, which was $1300 alone. You can also download music and rip your cds into the Eversolo with a cheap external cd drive. This unit is definitely not cheap but it is a great value. You are getting a great dac, streamer, digital pre amp and tons of options. It also looks very nice and has a solid build quality. I am very happy with the purchase so far.

So many things to like
I just recently ran across this DMP and I wasn’t really in the market for one because I was using a Cambridge streamer output to an IFI Neo Dsd Dac, for MQA purposes. As someone who has well over 1,000 cds I have been waiting for a stereo component made for cd enthusiasts that includes streaming and a quality DAC for under $5000, for a long, long time. The aforementioned setup was the best I could muster for the price, and it sounded great. However, I didn’t care for a couple things related to that setup, so this Eversolo began to call my name…Fast forward, I’ve got it, as per the picture, you can see what or how I have it paired. So, I will avoid the equipment listing. It arrived on time, packaged nicely, as you would expect from a high quality company like an Apple or other. As a matter of fact, everything is really high quality about this, from the aesthetics to the actual back-panel connections, to the touch screen, the weight and more. So, first impressions are very good.On to the setup, which, I gather is the most intimidating thing for many folks when it comes to products like this. IE: I had to take my IFI Dac out of rack to update, I hade to make sure my volume control was properly set on both the Cambridge and IFI initially, etc. The Cambridge wasn’t as easy to setup but only moderately more cumbersome. Conversely, this DMP-6 was the simplest device I’ve ever used. As well, adding a 2TB drive was nothing. Just snap it in, close cover, done. I’ve run cat 6 Ethernet cable in and two XLR cables for output to my preamp then XLR to EQ and SE to amp. After power up, it’s self explanatory. This is simpler than setting up a new phone or computer by leaps and bounds. It occurred to me after a couple of nights that this a really good smart phone attached to the front end of a good quality differential DAC. I’ve seen comments about how the interface is hard to use because it’s configured in landscape viewing, as opposed to how you would use your phone with one hand in portrait mode. This is nonsense. First, the accompanying app is in your hand…in portrait mode. I rarely use the units touch screen but it’s not an issue, at all.I won’t run through the features of this DMP but suffice it to say that it wasn’t lacking or overwhelming. The “settings” section is easy to use and app runs remarkably smoothly. One of my biggest problems with the Cambridge was that it just stop playing or the app would just drop out forcing me to interrupt the current playback. Overall setup and app interface are considerably better and more stable than the Cambridge. Add to this the on board storage for files as the file transfer process worked flawlessly and quickly. I loaded about 3,000 wav files in a few hours. Once again, a really simple, easy and reliable setup.Lastly, the pinnacle of why we even do all this silly reading and drooling…the sound. What I haven’t pictured is my Tekton Pendragon speakers. So that’s what I have and this current configuration I’m running with this Eversolo is stupid! This DMP is really special. I was pretty happy with the sound I was getting from the Cambridge/IFI setup but this is different. Way different. Much more refined and sophisticated. The soundstage, imaging and holographic presentation far exceeds what I had been accustomed to prior. It’s always impossible to impart sound in a review, of course. However, I was listening to Donald Fagan’s, The Nightfly last night, one of my favorite cds, and I was really impressed with what I was hearing and I KNOW that cd. Been listening to it for 40 yrs plus. The bass was in the mix where it should be. The cymbals were crisp and airy and audibly delicate were applicable. The vocals were present and precise and once again settle in the mix right as you would expect. There’s another track I threw on last night as well, kind of a Victor Wooten type of test track by Pip Millet called Ride with Me. It’s wild and I love to hear it loud! There’s a ton of fluctuations between channels and some serious low frequencies. This DMP processes this track far differently than my prior setup. I looked over at my wife while it was playing and she said, “yeah, I heard that”. The differences are audible, very audible even to casual listeners. In conclusion, when considering the value proposition of this DMP, it’s on par with my Tekton speakers, Willsenton R8 and Schiit Freya+ pre, which I would consider to be among the best equipment you can buy at their respective price points, IMHO. Hope this helps. Cheers to all and happy listening.

Versatile, sounds great and looks great
This thing is like the Swiss Army Knife of streamers - it can do most anything. I have it playing FLACs from an external SSD drive, Qobuz and internet radio streaming. Once it is set up, it is very easy to use and the internal DAC and associated audio sound great.Only difficulty is the setup method is not obvious and the instructions are at best sketchy. There is lots of detailed documentation on the internet, and once I consulted this, setup became easy. The thing is solidly built and the screen works just fine.A bit pricey but worth it, imho.

Best Streamer I've Heard
I echo the good things that others have written - sounds and looks fantastic, easy to use, well-built, easy to set up. If I could, here's why it would lose a half star in my opinion: 1) the manual could be more detailed, especially in the CD importing/file management in the DAC options sections; and 2) can't use the app to turn the unit on - you either have to get up to press the know on the unit or use the (purchased separately) remote, and there are times I'd like to turn the unit on while in another room.
