Magic: The Gathering Murders at Karlov Manor Play Booster Box - 36 Packs (504 Magic Cards)

I feel like every time I hear someone talking about this set it's either in a neutral or even negative way, but I really enjoyed this set. The Surveil land cycle is great and some of the mythics in it are great for Commander. Have also seen some really fun Standard brews with these cards, so it feels like there's something for everyone.

So obviously some people had some bad experience with their boosters. I ordered from a local seller in Connecticut sold through Amazon. Got my box pretty quick given I'm on the west coast. Was able to open packs that had anzrag, vein ripper, and Delney! Just solid open all around. I definitely will order from the same vendor again

The product us as advertised. Booster set, still sealed and wrapped in plastic.My only issue is the packaging. A soft package isn't really ideal for something as potentially valuable as trading cards. One of the packs could've had a highly valuable card damaged by the seller's shipping method. So far, the damage does seem minor and solely external box bending. The cards within should be fine. I'll look more in depth after this weekend and update if needed - if no update is present, assume the cards were in perfect condition.But still, a hard package, such as a cardboard box, would've been preferable. Simply for security's sake.

I'll be honest, went into this thinking it might be a scam, bc at the time it was 50$ cheaper than retail. Took a chance and glad I did. Most mythic rares I've ever pulled from one box (9 total). Box payed for itself basically.

The set itself is interesting and has a couple new neat mechanics, but the real problem is this stupid move to play boosters, which are basically a way to limit the release options and charge a good deal more. Buy buy a booster box 3 times a year for the MtG club I run at school to do a draft tournament. Over the last few years, I ate the cost, but I can't justify that any longer. I will continue to do it, but will return to asking them to pay a (modest) entry fee to help offset the price increase (which also makes the "prize pool" that much more expensive). I already preordered the next standard set... $170 listing already!?!? Shameful.

The product was received without problems. Perfectly packaged and without details.
